RE: MU Things I Love
@silverfox Yeah, me too. If you ever decide to try out modern settings, nudge me? I never thought I'd enjoy a non-fantasy, non-historical setting but I'm having surprising amounts of fun in a couple of places.

I have some really amazing people in my RP circle right now and I really appreciate it.
I miss you being in mine, I admit it. You took being a cold bitch to new exciting lows. XD

RE: General Game Recruitment Thread
I wouldn't mind having more playmates in European timezones on Gray Harbor. Poke Ravn if you look in! Not a game admin, just lonely in CET.

They're all sort of 'wtf why even' in that way that leaves you totally hooked.I mean, it had me totally hooked at Jon Kortajarena. But I'll check the others out next. This is the best toe curling horror since 1980s sitcoms.

RE: Bad TV
Bad TV? "Alta Mar" on Netflix. It's so horrible I'm in love. Why did I live 49 years before anyone introduced me to Spanish soap operas?

RE: Covid-19 Gallows Humor
@insomniac7809 That has got to be one of the most meme-ified comic strips ever.

RE: Covid-19 Gallows Humor
@Wretched Except your third grade teacher probably doesn't get paid by the state to live a millionaire lifestyle. And probably deserves it more.

RE: Covid-19 Gallows Humor
It doesn't quite qualify as gallows' humour but I'm still dead laughing. Gentlepeeps, I give you the Queen of Denmark passing quarantine time making paper dachshund hats.

RE: Resources for Self-Isolating People
@HelloProject 25 years for me. Getting a little tired of so-called friends going on about how their lives aren't worth living now that they can't go out three nights a week. This is any day ending in -y for me. But hey, message noted.

RE: MU Things I Love
When you run an event in which you expect the players to pretty much pull out their switchblades and go to town on a mediocre villain but somehow this scene ends with him crying in a corner while the heroes release every animal in the shelter and flee down the street in a rush of rage fuelled guinea pigs, mice, zebra finches and combat crayfish.

I mean, as long as you're not saying it in the earshot of kids who are immuno-compromised, I don't really see an issue? I mean, unless you're saying it in front of the high-risk kids (or the kids whose parents have cancer, or -- so on), but I don't think that's something you'd do.
Seconded. Putting children's minds at ease and helping them not live in existential terror. This is not at all the same as people happily arguing on Twitter that there is no reason to worry, only the weak will die. It's not in the same street, it's not even in the same city.
Keep on being the voice of reason in your kidlets' lives. They need somebody to be.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
Got to admit that as a chronically ill person I'm getting a little tired of "Don't worry, only immuno-compromised people will die." But, I'm still not believing in the coronacalypse. Flu is a far greater threat to me at the time being.

It does make me wonder.. The majority of MUers don't frequent MSB. I wonder what narrative he is spinning to other people about this.
The one in which he is a victim.
I base this on that being exactly what he told me the first time I encountered him. A long story about how he was misunderstood and unfairly treated (and a seventeen year old Portuguese kid in a computer lab, but nevermind that part).

RE: A bit of trouble on Firefly
@silverfox I did. It was a very nice portrait of Richard Nixon.
