I took a big step today, to push myself into being a small business owner. Scary, but now I'm just waiting to get and review the contract.

@Derp They do have to file an answer and have a deadline, and apparently just paying me is easier.

Apparently opposing counsel is lazy and doesn't want to write the response, according to my lawyer. Which she says is to my good, so yay?

So my lawyer called - the employer that fired me for sugar crashes got the filed suit. They want to settle. Here's hoping.

@SinCerely I am in this exact same position. I have a meeting with a store owner on Saturday to discuss display space, and percentages. My brain has been freaking out all day.

I have been run over by some sucky cold/flu thing. I can not AFFORD to miss work. Jesus

@TheOnceler I remember when I first started taking Ambien - I would take it and play League of Legends while waiting for it to kick in. I don't remember ANY of those games, but apparently it was funny for everyone else.

My poor boss. My co-worker called in late today - so boss came to our office to do his audit thing. Guy never came in, never called him to say he wouldn't be in. Boss could have stayed home, because he did mine already this month.

Add in the fact that we don't get work done, because we end up talking podcasts and shows and food...

When your co-worker totally has your back, and even better, you can /talk/ to them and have a real sharing of ideas.

Yeah. Mania for the win. Got so much cleaning done and organizing and rearranged furniture. Made food, did all the laundry I had (wash, dry, and put away), Got the dog cleaned up and groomed, got scents and soaps made... and it's not even 4 in the afternoon. I'm aware of it, but it's like I can't stop it. I don't know that I want to, with everything I'm getting done, so long as I keep in mind I have to work tomorrow.

Fucking manic episode this morning. OMG. Light speed, yo.

Snowed last night - streets are shit. Driving? No problem, not a single moment of issue.

Crossing the street to get into my office building? There's a disguised fucking pothole that I step in, and slam down on the pavement on hands and knees. Sigh. Slush in my kick ass knee high boots, wet leggings, have to clean up my dress from slush... and finally after work went to urgent care. Sprained ankle, swollen knee. Fuck this shit.

@Ominous I'm a fan of Good Eats. And lots of stuff on the Food Network. I thought about culinary school, but then I was dating a chef, so I didn't.

I just don't 'cook cook' much with just me.

@RightMeow My question is - who is cooking? I mean, I make some good stuff, but only if the stuff is there to make. lol

I started wearing dresses and leggings - and stopped catching my belt loops on things. Now I just have bruises that are cropping up like crazy and I'm clueless how I got them.

Then there's today - trying to pull the plastic ring off a soda bottle at work, and slam the back of my hand into the end of the arm of my chair. But at least I know where that one comes from!
