Chances are that the cloaca isn't so much yours as the other end of the worm. You're just a meat shield.

@tragedyjones Al anon includes meetings for people who gravitate towards folks with addictions. She might consider them, atop her own therapy. They also offer a book which might be helpful.

RE: +repose
Saving the last 5 poses would be awesome.
Or maybe the number of players present X2 or something. -
RE: RL Anger
Interested in you, but afraid to leave her boyfriend?
There is no interpretation of this line that doesn't give me the willies.
Is he abusive?
Is she with him purely for security? -
RE: Dust to Dust (Formerly the nWoD grenade thread)
What does the older method do better than the newer method? Does this in particular back up any aspect of play you wish to emphasize?

RE: RL Anger
I've given two video games to people, both male. One I know decently well, and have some distant fiscal/emotional connection to, the other a male who "should" be a thorn in my side. Maybe some folks like to give stuff away.
Or maybe we're all programmed to give a little extra to women and children.

RE: RL Anger
It vaguely reminds me of a friend, who would eat just about anything. He ate belut.
However he was afraid of artichokes. I was amazed so I cooked some for he and his wife. First he said they didn't look the same, and it turned out that after 20 years of fearing artichokes, he actually disliked cauliflower. After about three minutes of thinking, he realized that that the cauliflower he had eaten had turned out to have a giant, dead, cooked caterpillar in it.
So sometimes you may need to recheck your causes. Or maybe mayonnaise is just nasty.

RE: Goetia: nWod 2nd Edition and Crossover - Seeking Staff
Story requirement based combat penalties.
If you haven't had enough story, you have a hard time killing one another off, and an easier time surviving. Mooks etc are not so protected. Extra points if players are allowed to play mooks.

RE: Codebase
No.
Okay, if it worked exactly as the one I make does, then yes.
I used evals and whatever to make it so any text changes I make are passed immediately through to what is LOOKable. It's not hard, but perhaps for security reasons, every multi-descer I've seen requires reloads when you edit part of it.I'd miss messing about with code and such, but really that's not important.
I'd miss being able to make my ridiculous level of modifiable descs. EG, some of my characters wear cosmetic contacts or fake teeth, and I had sub-desc parts, for each part of the desc, and the ability to not use all parts, eg if I had a face section, body desc, clothes, demeanor, with addons for displayed items of power/weapons, I might just drop parts in any given desc set.
Yes, I like fiddling with my desc.

RE: Codebase
As long as I can code a simple multi-descer and have it work, I'm good.

RE: Ghoulage on Kingsmouth
Because I don't care about whats being talked about. I am not invested.
If you don't and aren't either, my mistake.
The point remains for those who do and are. Also, you started it. Neeners.

RE: RL Anger
It's the golden rule @BetterJudgment .
Pair it with capitalist view of profit, and you have someone who profits the most by setting the bar the lowest.

RE: AD&D 2nd Ed
And you could add in the Waterdeep boardgame for extra fun.

RE: RL Anger
I think it's moved from the metaphorical such as stirring up a hornet's nest, to literal we deal with septic tanks and cesspits. Please don't stir up, or disturb the sediment.

RE: Return to last position box
I've had similar many times, but it eventually returns.

Perhaps Canadians do not wish to malign the noble stirring profession.
