The Bourne books ... are set way in the olden days of the 80s. They are barely related to the movies.

Maybe I am being dumb, and since I am not much of a Windows user, that may be why I don't notice whatever it is that is giving you trouble. But I work from my 8.1 desktop, have shortcuts, files and folders, etc on it.
By which I mean it's available, and probably some 8.1 genius here can help with anything more complicated than that.

Wait, is the argument that portrayals can be damaging to the actual entities being portrayed? Or that players get all fighty over how these things are treated?

It was me. I get like that some times, especially when I haven't had coffee.
Yeah, no.
But I can offer a pint to Chime.

There is a great deal of illusion attached to many game systems. Distractions of resolution, probability, xp spending, equipment and enhancement gathering. What about the game play suggested in FAE is the issue?

Link it to a war band system and follow the cultural change of Vendel vs Vestenmannavnjar with rifles and cannon and you have a game.

I set a note when I add them, where I met them, what character if any they played where, and so on. i STILL have someone on my list we couldn't work out how we would ever have run across one another, despite being in similar circles (MU*s etc).

Anyone who can't enjoy the Powder Mage series should just end themselves now.

There used to be an Indian food place in a mall here that I and my friends visited. One day we noticed that they no longer had large cups. We asked the gentleman who ran the place what was up, and he explained that soda wasn't good for you, and he did not want to be responsible for someone having so much soda at once. People were encouraged to go to another place if they needed a large soda.
I don't know why, but that motivated me to stop ordering soda with meals, or buying it to have at home. I moved on to unsweetened iced tea.

I haven't rEad anything yet, but I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions. I have picked up a few of the suggestions, and look forward to giving them all a try. I'm moving to a new city, and having something to read will keep me alive.
Except the Thomas Covenant catfishing attempt. HR. Seriously evil.

You can write on a digital surface, which bypasses the use of paper until needed, and lets one develop their hand writing.

So. Old.
Were you frightened when trains were invented? Were you mad when Edward moved into Forks?
