      Could be an oversight, could be a way to say that if you are missing an Enforcer, or judging them, 3 of 5 is good enough.

      My reading was focused on the idea that your own small group could easily oust you, while the overall society would be pressed to oust someone where their Compact didn't want to.

      Yep, its an IF type decision.

      Niche protection does not reside in covering all science or crafts or academics with those three skills. I design so it is otherwise.

      I choose conscious decisions in design to model the reality I want players to RP in.

      If I want scientists to know everything, I will either let them spend xps on multiple sciences, provide a base science/education/art/crafts skill for general stuff with additional skill levels as specialties to deal with specifics areas of study, or allow a merit that makes buying more of the same thing a little cheaper if you feel people need encouragement.

      However, real world? I'd be happy if the players could try to stick to the canon material and maybe touch on the basic themes before descending into shenanigans.

      Yeahp. Nothing like coding a one stop link or something to save many people repetitious effort, what is this, software?

      The lack of coherent explanation, and the conflating of the terms need, want, and the idea of "I will require" are certainly a barrier.

      I make up an email per character, and I find the attitude difficult. Just sharing.

      Make each area of craft the skill applies to past a first into a cheap Merit. Since we are too lazy to deal with multiple crafts, melee weapons, vehicles, sciences, etc.

      Needing emails? Then generate a burner email for the player and give them the password.

      PrPs rewards? Make a budget based on time and intensity and who owns what access to what plotlines.

      Player changes to the grid? Establish guidelines, and add code or the ability to drop an object as two suggestions went.

      Have a long thread that dwells on somethings forever, and skips over interesting ideas? Make someone summerize, in list form.
