      @Ganymede I'm honestly likeing the name what about Beyond Virtuality: Nowhere? And I try to make it a bit more of a DC beyond feel. Take more elements of Batman Beyond and the like and mix it with the basic shadowrun premise to make something new. So Decking would be the same as shadowrun magic functions the same we have Elves, Trolls, Goblins, Dragons, Megacorps but with a bit more of that Beyond Feel So it's not QUITE shadowrun proper but instead a bit more comicbooky.

      I could even take in some minor elements of kingdom come.

      Maybe the reason some of the corporations are able to exist in a world that has people like superman is because they've got Corporate heroes on their side.

      I took a very brief stab at Iron Man, but it was hard to fit him into the setting. I think in my case it was really my fault; somewhere in my concept I could and should have filled in some kind of magic-related fuckery to make the suit work as everyone expects it to. I had an idea about having Edwin Jarvis' spirit somehow get trapped in the suit and planned to play that out on grid, but it would've been better as a trait in play at the time of creation. I couldn't wrap my head around how to Iron Man with a suit that doesn't keep up.

      It's worth noting that I've also never played a supers game, so it was a little bit of a long reach for me in the first place.

      Well I've got a channel for archiving sheets with basic character info but other then that was mostly going to go free form on the discord side of things with a harder coded mush later down the line.
      I was honestly going to use FS3, for when I finally get the mush side of things up and running, (even though Farraday recommends against it for any sort of magic system) just because I think it works nice with bending as a martial art more then a traditional magic.

      I'm going to be adding code and whatnot as the playerbase at large decides it's needed more then anything really. I want to see what people want at large.

      A lot of the discord rp I've seen is on the shorter form side ranging from a few sentences to one or maybe two paragraphs. I've seen longer form rp in it but that's a bit more rare to see.

      As I said this is starting as a discord with hopes of being a mush down the line once I work things out with hosting which base system to use ect ect. Discord is mostly so we can get RP going and get people along for the ride.

      Progress report: Fixed bug which barred characters from being able to be approved.
      Fixed bug that made every player get the admin flag
      Fixed bug which deleted characters at the end of chargen
      Fixed bug with demographics meaning half of demographics wouldn't show up
      Fixed bug with recursive code causing log size to bloat
      Fixed tag for if characters were FC's or OC's
      Added full timeline of game events
      Added frame of detailed events of great war to show differences between the real first world war and in game events
      Avoided working on porting grid.
      Made login screen even more prettyful with lovely colors
      Removed Fs3 after testing showed it would be too much work to have both it and the traits system.

      Hey thanks for the review on the place. I've honestly just been doing what I can to try and run a game I would want to play. If it happens to be good star-trek then that's just because it's what I'd want to see out of the game. We just brought on our first plot staffer to try and get things running in more timezones. Hopefully we'll be able to keep on the same page and get something for everyone to get involved in.

      I really want to make sure everyone at least gets the chance to get involved in roleplay that they can sink their teeth into while trying to keep the star-trek feel as I remember it from growing up watching the show without going too insane on the stories. My main priority is and has been to try and make sure the game is run how I'd want to play.

      I just have a few finishing touches on the grid and a good bit of work on the wiki and it'll be golden. Grid is pretty much done. It's a small grid but I like to think I put good detail into it and the Ares system of create a room specifically for a scene is going to make that small grid really shine long term. The wiki is a bit of a longer thing due to me not really understanding how wiki's work but yeah it's pretty much all done really. Should be good to launch into season zero shortly here.

      Don't want to promise exacts yet because I don't know what'll happen in the near future, but yeah it's pretty much all done except the wiki, and maybe some bugs here and there I injected into things while messing around.

      Thread necro because I just discovered a game called Prowlers and Paragons. It's a pretty neat little system from what I've seen so far. Kind of a decent mix between narrative style and crunch. It's D6 driven but not necessarily in the way one might thing (everything is rated in D6s , you roll your rank, even numbers = a success, dice also "explode" on a roll of a 6). My wife and I whipped up some characters last night and had a decent time punching bad guys in the face.

      I wa just wondering if anyone else has experience with this game? It's crazy cheap, $5 on drivethruRPG.

      Explain the goal, the positive thing you are trying to get others to join you in creating and maintaining. That will address the given player, and communicate your vision to all players including future ones.
