I have a very big issue with the casting choice.
Nynaeve.
That girl is too damn tall to be Nynaeve. Zoe is 5'8. Harris is 6'0.
Nynaeve is short in the books. Like, WoD wolf-blooded girl short. She barely came up to Mat's shoulder.
...I've read the series three times and I was convinced that Nynaeve was really tall until this post. Is it just that she always gets angry and seems like she's looming?
I have a PC hooked up through ethernet and a laptop that connects via wifi. Whatever is causing the jitter is limited to the wifi--the PC has perfect latency during these ridiculous events.
I don't think it's congestion, because it's so absurdly regular when it's happening. I'll use WiFiAnalyzer to check, though. Thanks for the help.

It happens every few days, I have no idea what causes it, the every-sixth-ping pattern is a constant throughout every single test, and AT&T is, of course, utterly useless.
I think a good question to ask here is: "Why is it so important to play a legal minor on a sex-based RP game, and not an immature legal adult; perhaps even a teen 18-19?"

I am attempting The Expanse for the third time, as it continues to get glowing recommendations. Thus far, it is holding my interest. Previously, I could barely get past the first episode, and now I'm on episode...5? 6? I think.
It's a slow burn. I haven't really binged it. I think if you don't finish the first season enjoying it at all, there's not much point in continuing. But the first season drastically picks up in pace near the end, and by the time the second season begins things are roaring along.

Having watched Another Life and read all the universally negative reviews of it, I think it's safe to say that I have truly atrocious standards for television. I thought it was lots of fun.

Almost done with season 2. The acting and the pacing is just phenomenal.
WoT had some pretty cool monsters in it, but oh my god, I wanted to murder all of the protagonists in every way possible!

ETA: Myrddraal remain some of the creepiest minions of evil around. The cape not responding to the wind is my favorite part.
WoT works quite well for a game as a setting even in the absence of book characters - it can even thrive that way.
This is why I'd really like to see a post-books setting in a MUSH. There's so much still to be done. All we know about the Fourth Age is from the visions at Rhuidean, and who knows how accurate those are?

The tv series, like the books, is going to be a joyful and complete disaster, and I cannot wait.

Honestly the only interest I'd have in a WoT setting is if it took place after the events of tbe series. Sanderson's slapdash writing left a ton of holes that are great starting points for metaplot.

Been on them since I was twelve, and inertia is a hell of a drug. Also, most of us in the group I'm in don't even really like the series that much anymore, since Jordan lost the thread hard after Lord of Chaos.
