It may have changed her understanding of why Dumbledore didn't contribute in going after Grindevald, but otherwise, I don't see it as a game changer to understanding the movie.
And that was a very important plot point. It wasn't like time travel where paradoxes can be expected - time after time Dumbledore explicitly said he couldn't go after the main antagonist but didn't explain why although we kept being told no one but him stood a chance to defeat him.
Obviously an explanation was needed, that wasn't a nitpick. But I can see why you might have needed to explain it.
It wasn't even necessary to get the subtext in order to understand why Dumbledore couldn't go after Gindelwald. They explained that away in the end without making it about their romantic relationship. So what the understanding of their past romantic relationship does is maybe add layers to the characterization to enjoy, but they actually refrained from hinging anything on any romantic feelings plot-wise.

@ganymede Your Maximum Ganymede would be grinding people's gears while they laugh.

RE: Arx Alts
Groth is TECHNICALLY correct, but he's not FUNNILY correct. (Orazio was never actually put on the roster before staff picked him up as an NPC.)

@Pandora I did have to click on the little reply thing to see which post you were replying to. You might wanna use the Quote option instead of Reply when it's a post that's not the most recent or two. That's the rule of thumb I use for myself, anyways. Just so people know exactly what I'm replying to.

RE: Stuff Done Right
It wasn't actually victim-blaming rape victims, it was using the common practice of victim-blaming rape victims as a comparison for someone saying that maybe if you're completely uninterested in helping games reduce their problems, you are part of the problem.
Which is also really inappropriate.

RE: Forgiveness in Mushing
@meg You, along with @Sparks, are someone that's on my list of "If even she thinks this person is kind of horrible..." You are very, very forgiving. Sometimes to people who are very undeserving! (By which I mean: people who keep doing the same bad things.) So it's always notable to me when someone has basically run through your generosity.

But what problem does requiring a model to wear an outfit for a week solve? What is even the point? Like...why?
Agree, I don't see that as either promoting RP or necessarily forcing a reduction of modeling stuff at home, because you could still just wear the same clothes without even RPing for days, etc. etc.

RE: Where's ToL?
The loudest someone on Reddit ever yelled at me was when I offhand corrected his assumption that I was a guy by just letting him know I was a woman. Apparently this was the WORST THING EVER. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

RE: Dragon Age: Inquisition
DA2 is the best game in the whole trilogy and you'll never take that away from me!
I do think that ME3 is the best of that trilogy because for me it was a near-perfect game until the last twenty minutes.

With this adjustment to the rate of new clue generation will staff be maintaining the same clue writing style or will they be shifting towards a less is more approach where clues are perhaps more substantive than they have been in the past?
Staff has said they're purposefully staying out of this thread, so you're probably not going to get answers from them on here.

Mudstats
Anyone know what happened with it? I really like it as a resource, but it seems like it's been abandoned. Last game added was over 200 days ago and it looks like it's just the automated stuff still running.

RE: Good TV
@Ghost I will refrain from spoilers! I think I had two different DVD sets for this at different points, along with VHS for the whole original dub. I wonder if my DVDs still exist. They'd probably be at my parents' house, lol. Apparently they'd be worth a pretty penny now? I didn't even realize until this week. But it was pretty much my favorite anime growing up.
