    • RE: MUs That We Would Love To Make (But Won't)

@Ominous I like all of these, but especially the fae.

I would actually adore a changeling-only WoD game, getting more into the Courts and politicking. Entitlements, venturing into the Hedge, etc. Obviously with True Fae threats here and there.

      @Ganymede
I was just about to link this! There are now 1500 games in this bundle, and it's raised 4.7mil. it's still only $5 (unless you want to donate more.)

Savage Worlds is amazing. Savage Rifts might be neat to look into, as well.

I will have to try to brain something! The setting seems amazing, so there's no lack of inspiration!

My question is is there a game system behind it or is it just a freeform?

      It's using FS3.

I'm extremely interested. My RL work does limit my MUing ability so I can't sign up for any heavy lifting, but I'd love to help out with building and lore. I can provide references if you like at that.

@Kay is amazing. Consider me a gushing character reference.

I'm also interested, but I don't really have the time/brainmeats to staff.

I can usually futz my way through wiki work, if you need some help! I'm not a wiki-wiki-wiz by any means, but I can probably make it somewhat pretty!

    • RE: Interest in a Discworld game?

      Yes. Yes yes yes.

Spirit Lake is on Ares/FS3 and has magic. @faraday is super helpful, too, and might be willing/happy to help you sort that front out.

Alsoooooo please have an alt-limit. There's too many amazing choices and I feel the alt-itis from here.

I would love to see a Dark Ages vampire-only (so Vampires and ghouls) game.

This might actually coax me into Vampire again.

...actually, wait, forget just the "general post-post-apocalyptic setting" part. What I want is a game literally based on either Nausicaä or Horizon Zero Dawn, or with a very similar feel to one or the other. Probably the latter, as it'd be more accessible to people.

      10/10 would play this game.

@gryphter I think at that point you are almost at Rising Stars.

Which would also be an interesting setup for a game. A town where a mysterious light from the heavens hits a town, and every unborn child is born with mysterious powers? Where you could basically chargen a really messed-up adult, and then periodically play flashback scenes with other folks to flesh out past relationships (because you've all known each other all your lives, being born in the same town and being known globally as having unique talents).

If you want to be PvE you leave it there and let them deal with things the staff runs (maybe even more of their own, who are using their powers for ill). If you want to be PvP, you just introduce the 'each one of you who dies, the power is distributed among the rest, making you that much stronger' element...

Man, this would actually be really cool. Even if/when your character died, you can slip right back in to being a part of the game, with none of that awkward 'I don't know anyone'/behind the curve stuff. XP is fun and all and can still be used for skills/stats, but the general 'power level' stays the same across the board.
