      Update: People reported that my fix on the Evennia side resolved the issue with mudrammer. So we could close the issue and everyone lived happily ever after in the best of worlds. 🙂

      Good looks good.

      As a FYI to toss out there, for those who use PennMUSH or TinyMUSH3, it will need adaptation as the @hook code for Penn and TM3 uses the TM3 standard @hook functionality while MUX uses the Rhost @hook functionality. The syntax for @hook is different for those platforms.

      So in that regard the code should work on Rhost likely without changes as well.

      If you use @parent, you need to lock it against people overwriting it. It's unlikely in games where people can't create their own objects, but a crap shoot otherwise.

      I know some of you folks have made noise about playing with me at some time or another. I wasn't playing my Hunter (just couldn't get into her/things), so I've made a new char. I'm now approved and on-grid as Sierra. Werewolf.

      Other potential hook is the University. She works there as a researcher, due to a background in anthropology and South American cultures. But there's also the, y'know, random 'oh hai' at a bar that always works (I am not a fan of 'all bar RP all the time,' but I understand its value in smooshing characters together who would otherwise struggle to meet).

      @Tat has done this on XF (feeding into @faraday's +cookie system) because she fell in love with the +comp system on the now-defunct Second Pass. Where it was, indeed, just a way to leave nice notes for other players and let them see them after the fact.

      Tat can talk more specifically about it if she ever wanders back, but basically every character gets a Comp object and all the comps for a player are stored there. Of course, I know there are limits for how many attributes a single object can hold, so I guess some day we may run into that.

      The public flag ignores all other publish settings and makes it all visible. There is certainly a way to un-publish individual comments on non-Public buckets.

      The only way I could get it to work properly on macOS is by replacing the hopelessly out of date system TK bundle with something up to date, such as ActiveTK (which I believe is still free for development use), then downloading the UNIX source for Potato (not the Mac binary) and running the script manually. It works but it's a PITA. You'll probably be better off switching to Atlantis.
