@Macha Keep in mind that these drugs take some time to take affect and are messing with your brain chemistry. Might be rougher before easing up.

And the dose might need tweaking before it works as close to perfectly as it can.

      Well, some basic survey questions:

What genres typically take your fancy?
How often do you feel you can reasonably be expected to connect, and for how long?
Are there any game styles, or cultures, that you've had exceptionally negative experiences with?

This is the first time I've heard homoeopathic medicine and holistic medicine being interchangeable.

I am very glad that this discussion is being undertaken as politely and informatively as it is. It is an exceptionally important conversation to have.

Is it just me or are 'curry hot' and 'chilli hot' different sensations?

Basically, I want to go back to work. Summer is about 4 weeks too long for me.

      I feel this, man.

it's very hard for me to imagine a situation in which trans people wouldn't exist

Totally fictional and not at all bound by reality ones?

ETA: And ultimately it's not about whether they exist or not, it's about the fact that they're usually played so goddamn poorly if not outright fetishistically that I don't want to bother dealing with that shit.

So the point is that an action might seem bigoted but isn't. The exact group being slighted isn't relevant to the question.

It's not even maliciously done, but OOC knowledge will make even tiny IC hints seem much more obvious than they really are

And lord help you if your NPC says something that is incorrect because the character themselves doesn't know the truth...

    • RE: Travel Connections

My main piece of advice when looking to book travel is to do so using your browser's "incognito" mode. Some places raise prices based on how often one views a certain flight or flights to a certain destination.

I think any further discussion on this topic should be relegated to the Politics section of the forum. That's what it's for.
