I was beyond hooked. I was addicted! I really needed an intervention because that many hours in a game in such relatively short time? Hehe. Yeah. I had a problem!

RE: Overwatch, anyone?
I find it amusing that the parent complained about that Tracer pose, yet Widowmaker has her cleavage showing down to her navel just about in one skin that I have. Guess tits are alright but ass isn't.

RE: Overwatch, anyone?
Wow. I just managed to do almost 5k healing which is so small feat when one is healing as Zenyatta.
And a healer-related peeve: People who are hurt yet run AWAY from the healer. At one point I seriously told my teammate 'Dude, I am so done trying to heal you'.

RE: Overwatch, anyone?
Bastion has become the bane of my existence. One on a team is bad enough but two or more?

RE: LootCrate Experiences
My first crate shipped on the 17th and should be here soon as it left Memphis this morning. Hoping it will get here before Thursday!

RE: LootCrate Experiences
I understand about not liking clutter. I don't like it, either, even if I am the world's most cluttered person, ever. That's why my 'woman den' will have lots and lots of shelves and book cases and stuff like that for my various collections once we can have a house of our own.
As for liking everything in a box, I look at it this way. I might not like everything in the box but even if I don't I can save what I don't like for gifts. I'd be spending money on something to give someone as a present anyhow, plus I'd have to run out to the mall or wherever and all that. So in my mind it kind of all balances out for me.

RE: Any Streamers Out There?
Over the weekend I am going to be holding a Cards Against Humanity stream, time and day to be announced. I am looking forward to it because it promises to be horribly awful in the good way.

RE: Pokemon Go
A 30 minute walk around my block with an incense used netted me ten pokemon. The one I caught when I first started equals 11 pokemon so far!

RE: Pokemon Go
If they're so evil, why are they addressing the issues with the security problems and are working with Google to fix them when they could perhaps exploit it?

RE: RL Anger
I hate that my step-dad is very sick with various issues and my mom won't change how she is to make sure he can get what he needs, mainly a kidney transplant he can't have because she can't be relied on to give him his meds on time, etc.

RE: Pokemon Go
I got my 10km egg hatched tonight. Got an Electabuzz out of it. And catching an extra Ratatta pushed me over the hump into the land of level 11. I am happy despite the fact that leveling up did not get me any incenses.

RE: The Cat Thread
We too had a cat-dog, as we referred to our mostly-outdoor cat, Chipper. He'd walk with us everywhere he could, up to a certain point, escorting us half-way to the store (or all the way, in a few cases - I thought he was going to walk into the store with us one day when we were still in Maryland) and he was very protective of the boys, staying with them when they were young and playing in the backyard. He was also very protective of the kittens when they'd accidentally get out. There was one time all four of them - Peanut, Red, Patches and Eamon - got out and were tooling around the yard. Chipper went between where they were and the front door where he meowed until I came out to see what was up. He then led me to the backyard where the naughty bebes were playing and then followed behind me when I herded them back in. I miss him.

Now I want a cup of chai and all I have is Constant Comment, which is good but isn't chai.

RE: What Do You Collect?
@Insomnia said in What Do You Collect?:
@apu Saw this and thought of you...
Haha. I need to get those, if I can. Golden Girls kind of hold a special place in my heart, seeing as how it was one of the shows my nana and I watched together religiously, and it'd be nice to have those as little reminder of those times.

RE: RL things I love
This year it is just going to be my two boys and myself at home for Thanksgiving, so we're going to be simplifying everything. Instead of a huge dinner just for the three of us, most of which would probably go to waste, we're going to do a small roasted chicken from Walmart's deli department, some stuffing and gravy, mashed potatoes and so on and so forth. Not a conventional Thanksgiving dinner but I am more than fine with this.

That as well as warm fuzzy PJs right out of the dryer are two of life's little pleasures.
