Tried to make a character here because the theme piqued my interest, only to find out the game's full and not accepting new characters at the moment. Any idea on when y'all will be opening the game back up?

RE: Dead Celebrities 2019
I always loved watching Max Headroom. Such an under-rated show. William really made the show, too.

RE: RL things I love
A lot of it has to do with the quality of the tea leaves and freshness. It isn't always a noticeable difference but it can also be a huge one.
I will have to see if we have one near us.

RE: RL things I love
I used to spoil myself a bit by keeping a stock of loose tea, usually several flavors at a time. I had to stop doing that because holy crap, it can get expensive. Been several years, but I was able to get some loose tea as part of a mug/infuser set and I had forgotten how much better loose tea is over teabags. Don't get me wrong. I love a lot of teas that come in teabags. But this? OMG, so fucking goooood!

I'd totally be down for this! Poke me here if you need help with building anything.

RE: Any Streamers Out There?
I did not know that. I'll ask my friends who stream Switch games about that. Thanks for the head's up.
ETA: Ah, looks like you are referring to their Nintendo Creators' Program, which they're shutting down at the end of this month:

RE: Any Streamers Out There?
So a lot has happened since I made this thread. As of September 28th of this year I made Twitch affiliate and am on something of a schedule, assuming RL and all that allows me to be able to dedicate at least a few hours at a time. This is my schedule, subject to change (times US CST):
Mon-Wed, Fri: 3pm-8pm
Saturday: Noon-6pm
Sunday: Noon-8pm
Thurs: Offhttps://www.twitch.tv/tiredewok
I mainly play Overwatch but often play other games that are somewhat obscure (Finished Fran Bow on stream a couple weeks ago, great game!). I hope to be able to get a Switch and a capture card so I can stream games like the new Pokemon game, etc, as well.
For those who posted their Twitch link, I'll follow y'all and try to pop in.

RE: RL Anger
I don't think I can eat an entire serving of kale by itself, but there's a bagged salad mix I love that has kale in it. I think it helps that it's mixed in with other veggies and yummy dressing.

RE: Bloopers
I remember the first time I ever 'bloopered'. Was not long after I started mushing and was hanging out on a mu*'s PG area (was a game that allowed minors since it was mostly a social mu*). I was having some... fun with someone in pages while chatting with people in the PG room and... uhm, accidentally fat fingered the page command. So instead of 'p' I typed 'po' by mistake. Dropped a rather raunchy pose in the room, while a minor and the head wiz was there. Thankfully the aforementioned head wiz was cool, and it was passed off as the accident it was, but holy shit was I mortified!

RE: General Video Game Thread
I got into streaming Mass Effect 2 after having it for several years (got it for free from Origin when they were still giving free games away). I never thought I'd get into a game like that like I have, but... holy hell. I really do like it.

RE: Dead Celebrities 2018
Even if she isn't a celeb in the traditional sense of the word, she invented something that became such a big tradition for many families. Sad we lost her.

RE: NaNoWriMo
I can't do it this year. I signed up for it and then remembered i won't be able to do much writing, if any, for four days which would put me woefully behind. So am going to need to hold off until next year. Makes me sad as I think I had a pretty good idea, but it'll keep for next time.

RE: Do you read the book(s)?
I read enough to understand theme and to get through CG. If things come up that I need to learn about then I'll delve back in, otherwise it's pretty much all fluff and shit.

RE: General Video Game Thread
Man, I loved board games as a kid. One I wish they'd make a digital version of is the old Dungeon board game TSR put out in the late 70s or early 80s. Took a bit to set it up but man, I loved playing that game with my dad. WotC put out a newer version under a different name, iirc. Have to wonder if they kept things close to the same or if they changed it.
