I would love to make a Star Wars game based on the time just before Order 66 was carried out through the 18 years before the Battle of Yavin. I started to write up a wiki for it and was lowkey sniffing for a coder, but it never got anywhere.

RE: Favorite/Most Memorable Childhood Books
One of my favorite books my nana got me was And Then A Harvest Feast by George Dennison. It is about a group of city animals who get tired of that life and move out into the country together and all the hard work they put into their new lives. It is such an endearing book and I suggest anyone who can get a copy (it is a Kindle book) and read it. Read it to your kids if you have kids and hell, read it yourself if you don't. It's so adorable and such a feel good book, I promise you won't regret it.

I wouldn't mind giving it a try! Let me know when everything's ready to go!

RE: Dead Celebrities 2020
I still feel that, even in the worst movies, Sir Connery was fucking awesome. I even love him in movies that are pretty much universally panned, LXG and First Night being two of those movies,

RE: Scion 2E Online Tabletop
Discord sounds good to me.
Out of curiosity, are there any online resources for the game? I have zero books for the system...

RE: Scion 2E Online Tabletop
Is Scion the one where you play as kids of gods? Because I could be down with playing a kid of Anubis or something like that.

RE: Suicide Squad: Nation Under Fire
I personally want nothing RL-wise involved in my RP. As has been stated before, RP is an escape from real life stresses and concerns, that being true for me for sure. Why would I want politics and shit shoved down my throat?

RE: Wheel of Time MU(SH|X)
Man, I wish I knew about the WoT world. I'd love to play but I know zero about the setting, and what attempt I did make on RPing on a WoT game was ages ago (and I got my hand held through it by the person I was there with who had read the books).

RE: NOLA 2: Back in the Vieux
Thank you for explaining that to me. I appreciate it very much.

RE: NOLA 2: Back in the Vieux
I am still learning what is, or isn't, seen as offensive or racist. So sometimes I read something and I personally don't see what is wrong with that words are used. So when I ask this, please understand that it is me asking so I can learn and not my trying to be argumentative or contrary. What about the use of the word 'Nubian' makes people feel offended?

Not a mod, but maybe this is better discussed in The Hog Pit so the ad itself won't get lost?

RE: Vietnam War MUSH
Okay. So he's still guilty of racism and bigotry.

RE: Vietnam War MUSH
So if Chet is guilty of trolling, and is suggesting things that involve racism and other forms of bigotry on top of it, perhaps it's time he's shown the door?

RE: Vietnam War MUSH
I think the general consensus is that it's time to stop, as much as I hate having to shit on someone's ideas. Let this rest and let's all move on.

@Sunny
But if he has a mental illness and isn't medicated, does it really count as trolling? I mean, trolling implies intent. Being mentally sick is a totally different ball of wax. -
RE: Vietnam War MUSH
This is why I said what I said about how I didn't think it'd be well received. Were/are all wars bad? Yes, but it seems like the Vietnam War was particularly so (I was born about a month after the war supposedly ended, and my memory for historical facts is shoddy af, so I remember very little of the actual details about it, I have to admit). I don't think this is a subject that should be broached at all, even in loose/broad strokes.

RE: Vietnam War MUSH
You are not wrong. Fuck. War is horrific, period.
