ETA: Why are my feelings on the subject being questioned to begin with, especially after having explained why I found it offensive in the post you quoted me in? It isn't like I'm playing SJW or anything like that. Autism is something we have had to struggle with for pretty much his entire 20 years of life and is something that strikes close to my heart.

For me, the last straw with the jerkoff was his posting the meme about autism. I tend to take that kind of shit personally because my oldest son is autistic and I fail to find anything humorous where that goes. Wanted to tell him to go DIAF for that but by the time I posted that he had already been banned.

Wow. I just managed to do almost 5k healing which is so small feat when one is healing as Zenyatta.

And a healer-related peeve: People who are hurt yet run AWAY from the healer. At one point I seriously told my teammate 'Dude, I am so done trying to heal you'.

Balance issues are to be expected this early on in the game. Such problems are not usually addressed in early development because they're focusing on other things like the servers and code and whatnot. It will undoubtedly be addressed once people get feedback to them and all that.

I think it depends on who you're healing with. Zenyatta's really easy, in my opinion, while Mercy was a bit more difficult since she's a bit more dependent on people being closer to her while Z can range heal with the harmony.

I've been bouncing between Pharah, Solider:76 and, if I am feeling up to healing, Zenyatta. I need to branch out more, though, and give some of the other heroes a try at some point instead of getting into a comfort zone.

On the note of that Tracer pose: Apparently the guys at Blizzard weren't happy with it to begin with and the complaint from the parent was just the last little nudge they needed to replace it with something else. They should have just gotten rid of it on their own. The way it went down has them looking like they caved.

I find it amusing that the parent complained about that Tracer pose, yet Widowmaker has her cleavage showing down to her navel just about in one skin that I have. Guess tits are alright but ass isn't.

I was beyond hooked. I was addicted! I really needed an intervention because that many hours in a game in such relatively short time? Hehe. Yeah. I had a problem!

I have been having entirely too much fun with it. I just hope it doesn't become a 'problem' like TF2 did. I played over 1000 hours in about 2 years because I got THAT into it.

Yeah... I just found that out myself after talking to a Blizzard CS person. Basically, if you ordered on the 29th like I did then you'll get your code tomorrow before the beta starts. They also said to be sure to check the spam folder when you check for it because there have been cases of the email containing them being mistaken for spam.

The open beta is from the 5th-9th with those who pre-ordered the game gets early access by a couple of days.

As for the keys, I've yet to get mine.

Is anyone going to be playing this? I per-ordered it today and after having done some of the closed beta a couple weekends ago, and would like to have a few people to play this with on maybe something of a semi-regular basis? Anyone interested, feel free to IM me here and we can trade battletags.

I remember Benjamin on UU as well! He was a lot of fun. Can't remember who I was when we RPed what few times we did, though. Almost want to say I was Cissie King-Jones but not quite sure. Always wondered what happened to you!

I love it when I finally figure out how to get something to work after much failing about and it trying to kick my ass.

Okay. I know I said I'd be back here and I will be. Finally got RL taken care of AND got a new computer online so yay!

Not saying it isn't a problem for female gamers, but I can honestly say I've had zero problems with being treated poorly/differently/etc while in the guilds I was a member of that were not ran by friends. Maybe I just lucked out, maybe the other players were more mature than that... not sure what it's a case of but I am glad I can claim this.

I hope that works. Right now the plan is to not take any of my mom's calls and such. Maybe that'll get the point across to her.

I hate it when familial relations become toxic and/or otherwise unhealthy. It isn't like a friendship or a romantic relationship where you can just say your goodbyes and cut all ties. There's that pesky blood bond that is kind of difficult, if not outright impossible, to sever.
