As the title says, I am curious as to if anyone here streams, be it gaming or crafting/doing artsy stuff or whatever, via Twitch, YouTube or some other method I do not know about. I sometimes stream on Twitch although right now I don't really have a set schedule yet due to having my computer in the living room which means I have to wait for the other people here to be occupied so I can have a few hours of uninterrupted stream time.
Man, if this was a thing (along with the internet and everything else involved since I am a kid of the 70s/80s!) I totally would have loved it, especially if they had the Kenner Star Wars action figures in it!
I understand about not liking clutter. I don't like it, either, even if I am the world's most cluttered person, ever. That's why my 'woman den' will have lots and lots of shelves and book cases and stuff like that for my various collections once we can have a house of our own. 
As for liking everything in a box, I look at it this way. I might not like everything in the box but even if I don't I can save what I don't like for gifts. I'd be spending money on something to give someone as a present anyhow, plus I'd have to run out to the mall or wherever and all that. So in my mind it kind of all balances out for me.
I can see where that might be a problem if you get it for a while. I'll probably drop it as well or swap it out for the gaming one for a while if that happens to me.
My first crate shipped on the 17th and should be here soon as it left Memphis this morning. Hoping it will get here before Thursday!

Okay. Let me put this out there. I have no problem with the fact that they allow male characters of whatever sexual preference only. That's not what I am getting at. I just feel like they're claiming to be welcoming to the LGBT people while only offering a very limited option of what's able to be played by the people they seem to be inviting. Are there lesbian, bi or transgendered women who'd want to play gay males... heck, let's add heterosexual females to this mix, too...? Maybe, yes. But there probably would be just as many, maybe even more, who'd want to play lesbian/bi/trans-female characters who are not going to be pigeon-holed into minor roles.
But, again in hindsight, since I am not part of the community maybe I don't have any right to say anything, I dunno. 
The exclusion of female characters in pretty much all capacity is what turns me off on this game. Not that I fit the demographic this game is geared for, being a straight female, and wouldn't play there as a result, but still. If you're going to claim to be inclusive then be inclusive. If you're not willing to welcome everyone regardless of sex/gender then don't claim to be so.

I had considered getting 1-Up Box and Nerd Box... Nerd Crate?... but I'm going to hold off for a while. LootCrate should more than suffice for now.
Once I can afford more than one sub I'll be getting the LootCrate Gaming (go fig, right?) sub as well as the regular. But what I'd love to get my hands on, assuming they still have them, is that Star Wars one. Sadly, I foresee $100 being out of reach for me for the foreseeable future. 
The nice thing about the items, in my opinion from what I've seen in videos and such, is that if something doesn't fit your liking then you can give them as gifts, like what @Kanye-Qwest's friend did with him. Even the smaller items are nice and don't scream 'cheap regift' or whatever if you were to pass them on to someone else.
It is a monthly subscription service that sends 4-6 geeky/gamer/etc times a month, one of those items being a shirt that's related to that month's theme. They often have exclusive items, like exclusive Funko!Pop figures, which makes it especially nice. If you're curious enough, there are a lot of people who do 'uncrating/opening' videos on YouTube that you can take a peek at to get a better feel for what's in them.
I know, I know. First a thread on Overwatch and now another about this topic. What weird and/or obscure thing will I come up with to post about next, huh? 
Am curious as to who else subscribes to this service (I just set mine up today), what your overall impression of it is, what your favorite crate has been so far and other such things such as how do you display what you get, etc.

I personally have a love/hate response to most rosters on mu*s. I love them because it can give me a chance to dive into a game (assuming it's a roster you can just pick from and hop IC immediately and not have to do anything CG related with them) and give things a try. I also hate them because you're stuck with all the past history unless the game has some kind of reboot policy that allows you to ignore all the past RP and all that. Yes, I know that you can technically take the rostered character in another direction from that point on, but yeah.
Okay... since the subject of ganging up on people came up, I feel like I should clarify what I wrote earlier. I do not condone mob mentality/ganging up on people and I realize that my original response might have made it come across like I do. I apologize to anyone who might have gotten that impression from what I said.
