Neither of my cats are the 'OMG RUN AWAY FLEE' types if I move... but Diva you can tell was abused previously. If My hand moves too quickly or I reach for her suddenly, she will flinch away. She's 16 years old and has been with me for some time but still hasn't ever really broken out of that instinctive 'AH!' moment when she sees sudden, unexpected movement.

George has zero fucks to give. He will steal my chair and not move until I'm almost sitting on him. NO. FUCKS. Then he glares at ME as if I've done him wrong. Then jumps up and drapes himself across my chest so I can't see the tv over his bulk. His revenge is as subtle as a brick and just as effective.

@testament Yeah, I tend to adopt directly from the humane society since they tend to be the more overcrowded, less funded, and they are the ones more likely to have to put down their seniors for non-adoption. I can't save them all, but I can save as many as possible! Right now, that means two at a time. And I still fee bad, because I would love to have like... four more. XD

@il-volpe There are a lot of anime where the actual animation is almost seamless and its beautiful to watch. But then there are the ones where you can tell the budget wasn't enough to do the artwork justice. And it bothers my brain to see it.

@aria I'm more a fan of reruns of Star Trek episodes over True Crime podcasts, but otherwise I am SO down for the nap bus.

@faraday I have a model of sock that largely works for me, but they still have to be precisely organized because the toeshape DOES change depending on the foot you wear it on! So like.... I can't put a sock that's conformed to my left foot onto my right foot. Yes, I can tell. Yes, it drives me nuts.

I've seen seamless socks, so far none of them have been made in a manner that doesn't still bother me. And most of my socks are either compression or athletic socks as I'm prone to edema in my feet and ankles.

@saosmash Goodwill gets all my stuff, whether its old stuff I no longer need or the plethora of new things that I forget to return. XD

@aria That is how you know that a Project Coordinator got the job by kissing butt rather than through any actual leadership skills or knowledge set. Because they don't understand what you mean, so clearly you are just trying to make them look bad despite it... really being bad to not have a priorities list or be able to explain your decision-making process and how both apply towards the overall goals of the project.
