@Tyche uh... good for you? My medications have been being juggled around so much lately I spike and crash with no understandable rhyme or reason. My desk is across the building from the ladies' room and break room. Not something I want to risk if I'm feeling shaky/dizzy like a crash.

If you're crashing you aren't going to inject insulin and no need to test cause you know your down, so no need to make that trip to the ladies room anyway?

So you can feel superior or whatever that no one ever sees you test or inject. I'm just going to fucking deal with my issues when I have to. There's a REASON the law includes Diabetics and is in place.

No, I'm just more sympathetic to people who have issues with needles and blood.
That's all. I don't like to create drama where I work. The internet on the other hand...

-sigh- So I got pulled into the office at work today. So they can 'request' I test my blood sugars and inject my insulin in the ladies' room or the break room, and not at my desk. Because 'some people' have 'weak stomachs'.

I've been insulin dependent for 8 years and none of the employees at any of my clients have ever seen me test or inject. Even among close friends and family it's very rare. I always thought it was totally unnecessary to do it in front of anyone.

I didn't know this CRAP existed: Can I get a Outlaw
I only discovered it following Luke Combs who I like. In fact the he sings a good hook and the song might just stand alone without the rapping doofus in the backwards ball cap.

      Popeye's chicken sandwich is amazing.

Is it chicken? Or perro de barrio?
I always found Popeye's breading to meat ratio problematic.

      Good news everyone!

This July was the hottest month in recorded history.

No wait, that's not good news.

I could have sworn it was July 1936. For the US that is. But they keep changing the data though.

The 1936 heat wave lost its spot (highest average monthly temperature across the continental USA) in July 2012. Your information appears to be seven years out of date.

I wish they would make up their mind

Work office being 80+ degrees, so I have to drink water, which makes me sugar crash to 60 - and they don't understand that 15 minutes will not be enough time to intake sugar and make my hands stop shaking. - And then they turn the AC on.

I had this problem. Less insulin, more water, solved it for me. YMMV.

One of my earliest movie memories involve Flesh and Blood. Easily the first 'erotic' film I ever watched, too, even though it'd probably barely register as such these days. I haven't watched it in years but Rutger Hauer was so good in it.

'The Hitcher' was also great and also had Jennifer Jason Leigh.
