A lot of it depends on how recently you have showered (and was your soap drying your skin?) and how long you've been active and sweating.

But the main complication is that ball itches travel. See, when you have an itch on your arm, you scratch, with usual pinpoint accuracy. However, when it comes to that scrotal landscape, where you think the itch is, isn't always there, and you gotta go searching for it, usually while surreptitiously trying to stretch the skin out to get a proper scratch while avoiding the sensitive testes themselves, so sometimes the ball itch might seem vigorous, when the poor gent is really just trying to pinpoint that spot, where your brain thinks it is but it really isnt.

No, sorry, just no. NPC's are tools for staff to run plot. NPC's are often passed around between staffers, or have to be picked up after staffers quit. There is enough drama after multiple different staffers play an NPC and some player complains they aren't being as nice to them asd they used to be.

Humans and Sex is fucking complicated and it is and always will be. I am not a puritan in any light, I am for all kinds of sexual freedom. i believe in 100% legalization prostitution. I am one of the kinkiest people some of you mgiht ever know, and I have hundreds of hours spent TSing.

But sex and power dynamics is an issue, and just because some of you (myself included) have had positive outcomes from TSing staff NPC's, doesn't mean that that should be the norm. As others have mentioned, Optics are super important for a healthy game.

If you wanna TS someone, fet off the official NPC's and get on a PC bit and fucking go forth with your semen drenched fuinsplosions, but dont try and look me straight in the face and say that people in positions of power (Aka Staffers and NPC's) should just go around using set pieces to boink PC's because it 'furthers the story'.

And do be clear, i'm not talking ab out 'seducing the NPC with dice rolls and FTB's to murdlepate them.

When we exist in a community that ALREADY HAS huge issues about Staff vs PC trust, and you add TS (another hot button issue over the years) into the mix between PC's and NPC's it complicates it even more. So when Vladmilda the Vampiress decides to seduce the Prince, and then the prince and she spend hours and hours TSING (as opposed tro rolling seduction as per the rules of the game) there are a number of complications that can happen.

Optics are not just about people being shitty or shaming others. Human being are prone to favoring those that they are in intimate close relationships with. A lot of this is simulated in the MUing world, I mean just look at waves arms in the direction of this forum

A Staffer is someone who is behind the curtain, running the game and moving plot and making things just happen. They are again, in a position of responsibility and power. They should not be using (or expected to use) said influence and power to provide porn scenes for people.

I will say again, there is 0 reason a Staffer needs to use an NPC to TS to advance the story of a game.

This does not mean that I am a prude, or have unhealthy views on sex, or think people that TS are bad. I often TS when I play games, I place TSers under no Stigma, but there needs to be some separation and professionalism between staff and players.

The Cognitive dissonance on display is frankly absurd here. We all know people that met significant others and spouses through MUing, We know that the relationships we build on these games can gain us friendships that last years. So the idea that this stuff can also cause distress and misery comes with that.

How many of us have issues with regular forms of rejection? Or have trouble finding the Rp they want, or getting involved in plots. Add to that that Staff are just TSing certain people with Prominent NPC's and then going 'No it's fine! We are ethical about it! That solves that! it's only you terrible jealous people that have a problem.' is more than a little boggling to me.

How'd you get that position? Oh I just fucked the prince! It's valid! They are 'ethical'!

Saying that it isn't Ethical for Staffers who Run the Game to use NPC's for TS (again not sex, TS) is not coming down on sexuality, it's not kink shaming anyone, it's saying that it is BAD STAFF POLICY.

@Ganymede There was a choice, and I made it today. Cashing in sick time and taking a leave of absence. Likely to be unpaid, but part time job vs health of self and wife and family.

The good news is is that my boss is awesome, pushed me towards the decision and says my job is secure. And if i wanna do some 'once a week in the back' we can look into that too.
