I replied in the other thread so I'll reply here again, more or less.

Making players feel safe about coming forward against creepers and bad actors is imperative. Even if they consented to RPing taboo things with said player. Consent can be withdrawn and when these things are not respected they should be reported. This is part of why I went on a rant about it in the other thread, people should not be shamed for their (CONSENSUAL) TS, even if it's on our squick list.

Is Sally comes to me as staff she should feel comfortable to say 'Yeah we agreed to play kidnapping scat fetish with non consent elements but then he got marshmallows involved and i didnt want to continue and now he is harassing me.' and staff should be able to go 'Yo, dude, knock it off, or you are banned.' and if they continue (or there is enough evidence that really there is no conversation needed) then you kick them off.

However Sally should also be able to say 'Hey, I consented to some stuff and now he's taking it too far and wont leave me alone and wont respect my wishes' without details and STILL GET HEARD AND TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

Also please log things.

Some of the reply's are talking about powers, like Majesty and Dominate

I am generally against all of this, it seems that the response to people not cooperating with stats shouldn't be to just remove those stats.

Clearly Persuasion shouldn't be used to force seduce people that arent interested. Sure you could get a good roll and i could be like 'yup, my loins are fired up but I am making a conscious decision not to fuck you' But that's generally because that kinda shit is skeevy on an ooc level

But frankly, people get convinced to do things against their better nature all the time. Yes even harry Dresden could be intimidated into backing down with the right leverage. Millions and Millions of People are convinced to vote against thier best interests all the time.

No, Social Stats aren't 'magic powers' but people who lose dice challenges (Example: Intimidation to get somone to back down from a fight.) and then do whatever they want anyhow are called assholes and cheaters.

I dont think the solution should be that every PC is suddenly immune to 1/3 of every PC's sheet.

Also Re: Powers Literally almost half of changelings magic is about emotions and social stuff.

I have drilled a third new hole in my belt this year.

Some of ya'll have never had to answer jobs about players wanting to know their relationship status with NPC's they were TSing after a staffer quits and it shows.

After so many years of shit and mental health breakdowns, the last couple months are finally moving on an upward trajectory in a number of ways.
My Brothers, my Oma and Opa, and my Mom. ANd even my estranged Cousin I'm starting to talk to again. She had undiagnosed BPD forever. Things are still strained between her and much of the family, But I am learning to understand mistakes more.
And to all my friends, most of which are from this stupid hobby that I hate and love at the same time.
