I am using my dehydrator on some bacon tonight that has been marinated in soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper and habanero powder to make spicy meat candy... will update tomorrow.

Finally got my new glasses after the whole cataract surgery thing. Progressives are weird, and i can now see just how messy my home is. But yay, seeing clearly feels like i just got a super power.

@Thenomain All the grey in my hair is agreeing with you. However, its good to be able to see after sooo damned long. Everything is in HD, and i dont get a headache trying to read anymore. I might actually Roleplay again and can write for more than 5 mins at a time.

@Auspice The sword of truth was one of those series that I loved when it started and then hated it a few books in. They kept repeating lame patterns of plot (doubt protag at every turn but it's okay because he's special and right in the end) and things seemed to get really preachy with the Authors RL views.

Matrix 4 is a go.

@faraday @Auspice It both has to be something I am interested in and I have to be doing something else at the same time, like mindless shooting games or grinding/housing in an mmo. Because yeah, if I am only listening, then not enough of me is stimulated so my mind starts trying to stimulate itself and i'm not listening anymore. I spent hundreds of hours building in Wildstars housing, and most of that was listening to audiobooks or something similar.

Not sure how accurate and science it is but it was an interesting read. We are hunters!

I really like how in the expanse that they believe as i do, that one should keep the sides of ones head shaved.

@Sunny @Auspice It resonated with me because it actually touches on the structure of society/work/etc being built around neurotypical, and how that just doesn't work for us, and forcing atypical to be typical does not work (stares at family). But I am mildly obsessed wityh the topic because I am seeing people for it now, and as Sunny mentions, the language is major, and as Auspice says... timelines?! You mean SORCERY?!

@Auspice This is so much a thing. All my life people have told me to 'make a list' and 'use a calendar' ignoring the fact that i will forget to check/use/remember that they exist.
