Hooray for new Diablo 3 season!
Hooray for addition of Nighrcrawler to the Marvel Omega PS4 roster and them giving him to me for free for being a VIP member!
Hooray Red Stripe
Hooray for beer.I don't know why I enjoy Marvel Omega on the PS4 so much but man I love that game. Night Crawler is pretty dope but Deadpool is still my #1 pick.

I don't actually know what Ark is.
Ark is a PVP survival game. With dinosaurs! You build bases, form
tribes with other players, tame dinosaurs, die a lot. Fun times. This is another game that is a guilty pleasure of mine. I love playing it but in a lot of ways it makes sense to me. Pvp is a blast even when or more so when there are those bully players that try to punk you on servers. It's great drive to get stronger to come back and give them a beat down.

I loved huttball in SWToR. Some of the best PvP I'd had in ages. Once you had people who knew how to pass the ball and use the game grid... was so much fun.
Huttball was and is so much fun to play. I'll periodically jump on SWToR just to play that specifically with my Juggernaut or Vanguard. A Huttball match between two well-versed teams is a tense and exciting game that, win or lose, leaves you feeling satisfied.
Giggity.
But, if you get stuck with someone who does know how to pass or how to spread out and use the full dimensions of the playing field? It's frustrating and makes me want to drown someone in a pool of acid in the center of the field.

@ThatOneDude Swinging around as Spider-Man is sooooo satisfying, too
-
Diablo 3's first season with the Necromancer class has started! Endless waves of those pale-skinned freaks around, skeletons are flying in everyone's faces, it's fun.
-
I've been having a lot of fun with Mordheim lately. So much so, it's pulled me away from mushing. It's basically a warhammer fantasy Xcom, with a better RNG(meaning you don't always seem to miss those 80% shots).
-
I can't really play League of Legends on the NA server, unfortunately (which probably goes for most MOBAs, actually) because the lag fucking destroys me. Like, at 250 ping, I am less than effective when it comes to pretty much anything. Like I can maybe reliably play off-lane, but even then, I'm probably just gonna get trounced.
It's annoying because a lot of people who are friends of mine online play in NA.
I just wanted to complain. Booo.

I've been working on mine! Level 70, 80 or so paragon levels so far, hardcore mode, got geared enough that Torment IV is like /normal/ difficulty, so thinking about ramping up the difficulty again.
-
@Lithium I hate hardcore no matter what YOU PEOPLE (I'm looking at you @Misadventure) say about it. I have enough stress in my life, thankyouverymuch.

Funny you say that, I jumped up to torment X and died, lost my set, lost everything! No worries, start again, will just be moderately annoying getting the set pieces again
-
@Lithium You're welcome.
-
@Arkandel I'm not fond of hardcore either -- and I've been incredibly lazy about leveling up my necro in Diablo 3, mostly because it's my first Diablo 3 character after switching over to PS4. Doesn't help that Fallout 4 sucked a good month of my life away back at the start of the summer, either.
Right now, I'm playing Neverwinter on PS4 and marking time for Wednesday... because I know some people may love it, and others may hate it, but I'm planning to be up at midnight for the rolling open of Destiny 2 (I even have Wednesday through the following Sunday off from work for it, geek with no life that I am).
-
@darksabrz I'd offer to powerlevel you (it's so fast) but I don't think console and PC players can multiplay cross-platform.
Necros were fun! I'm kinda losing interest in mine since I'm stuck around GR80ish and the rewards are no longer driving me, but... at least two (maybe three) different end-game builds gave me stuff to do for a while.
-
Speaking of Diablo 3.
Warhammer 40000: Inquisitor - Martyr out in Early Access.
Diablo-style game in the Warhammer universe.
I'ma buy it.
-
Hardcore works for me because I have a seasonal group who will power level any character, and take you along to get some gear in very high greater rifts. So losing something isn't so bad, and I have peeps to play with sitting next to me.

Hardcore was pretty based since it added that roguelike effect. At least, in Diablo II. I skipped Diablo III.

@lain D3 with Reaper of Souls is fantastic. I believe the Battle Chest for it is like $19.99 now. It is a loot and FX piñata.
-
@Admiral Whoa, for serious? Is it related in any way to the RTS Dawn of War series, or a completely new property?
@Arkandel I occasionally watch YouTube for build ideas, and Rhykker's apparently updated the "Captain America" build with Blessed Shield -- as if I didn't already have enough grinding to do. And I still need to get a Demon Hunter into play, because they're just the shit -- best parts of Amazon and Assassin rolled into one, IMO.
-
New property. I've been playing it for a few hours now. It's... not as run and gun as Diablo 3. There's tactics and positioning, somewhat, like suppression and cover and all that. It's a single unit game, has multiplayer and the like. I can see where it would be fun to have a squad of players.
There's a bit of grind to it, as in you won't get fat loot right off the bat. And growth is slow. But I'm enjoying it so far.
Also since it's EA, the Psyker class isn't opened up yet, but you can still be one of the other two classes, each which has three subclasses. So it's pretty meaty for an EA game. I've yet to try melee, but it's satisfying using an autogun or a shotgun. There's a good feel when you gib the enemies, which is important. The graphics and sound are spot on as well.
