But the work has already been done for you, mostly. As I said, some of us have been trying to translate the Bloodlines to 2E.
Some of the Bloodlines would be great for the Descent, like the Dragolescu. If I recall, the Descent had the spirit world bleeding into the real world, which was a totally awesome idea (and one of the reasons why I made a Werewolf there).
If you want help on this end, hit me up. I'm in.
(I used to play 'Wolf' there.)

I'm all up for it. Come on.

It is post-apocalyptic. One might wonder if you are going to have proper covenants, or if they vanished along with mortal society, with new replacements? Sorta like the conspiracies that you could use in lieu of covenants, from Danse Macabre?

I also wonder if you even NEED different clans or bloodlines (or, hell, make the clans themselves bloodlines?)

I also whole-heartedly support coastal settings. Mostly because I wanna be ON A BOAT.

I'm all thumbs, @Cobaltasaurus.Any help would be seriously welcome! Especially since, apparently, duckclient for chromebook tries to parse code as url's and it makes me cry.

Some of the conspiracies would be neat. Harbingers fit better as their own little bloodline.

So, the conspiracies idea is neat. I hadn't thought of that, but it seems like a swell idea. It's something to consider. For ease of use/familiarity, I figured we would, in fact, just use the standard covenants, and see what kind of neat spins that the player base might put on them to put them into context of this new world. I think there is a lot of potential for taking the themes and tropes of each of those Covenants and twisting/subverting them to adapt to a post-apoc setting. But damn, if conspiracies aren't cool.

As for the setting, it's not coastal, but boats are a thing. St. Louis is bordered with two major rivers in the Missouri and Mississipi. Let river pirating commence.

I played on The Descent before. I played a werewolf and I had a bit of fun.

That said, I'm not here for this post-apoc vampire thing. Not here for it at all. Y'all have fun.

                  Am I the baddie?
                  Yes. Always yes.

And when we get things settled enough to add a second sphere, which will be wolf, you'll be more than welcome to come play again. :3

Though, because it is a reboot, I'll be cleaning up the old bits, builds, and such. So if someone would like a build desc or sheet, please let me know.

I am curious as to how it is post apocalyptic, what was the apocalypse, how does it affect the world, and in what ways? Are vampires and other supernaturals openly known or is there still a Masquerade?

If I recall, there was some sort of spiritual explosion that ripped apart the barriers between the Twilight, the Shadow, and reality. So, ghosts and spirits abound. Fighting, degeneration, all of that. End of civilization.

I don't think the "masquerade" policies were being enforced any more. There's no reason when there are ghosts and goblins everywhere.

Thor shot. Telephone pole sized chunks of titanium that were triggered out of orbit by (dundundun) something. Things got torn open, broken, ripped asunder. The Masq was kind of loosey-goosey in that most people knows there's shit out there, but it's still not real wise to get lynched for being one of the boogeymen.

Still plan on using the thor shot barrage. No one ever went digging into the big 'Why' of how it all happened, so there's still a big plot lying around in the corners of my mind.

You know, back when I was creative, I had an idea for a post-apoc WoD game where the atomic bombs ripped open the barriers, causing ghosts and spirits to flood into the world. Because of this, technological advancement ground to a halt, as people focused on survival more than innovation. The time was the year 1999, right before 2000, but the technology level was more like the 1950's.

So, it was kind of like Fallout: World of Darkness, but without the power suits and nuclear stuff.

Isn't that basically 'the apocalypse' from oWoD mixed with Fallout?

Sounds about right. Or Walking Dead, -zombies, +supernatural weird shit.

ST. Louis does have an massive underground landfill fire. AND nuclear waste storage.

It might be. I didn't read the "Apocalypse" part of the End Times supplement. Fallout, yes. The rest of it was just an idea I had in the shower.

If I remember correctly, there was also like a giant global stock crash, and total economic devastation along with the Thor strikes which led to the collapse of society and infrastructure and all that, too. It was like TWD without zombies mixed with Mad Max before the bombs dropped between Road Warrior and Thunderdome. with the added spookiness of spirit bleeds and everything else. And there was going to be the nuggets of mystery of what exactly happened, because it seemed too coordinated, or something. But man, this is remembering stuff from loooong ago for me.

Quick update, now that I'm unburied from the weekend and business type obligations:

@Ganymede has pitched and blurbed some -amazing- bloodlines, that are fantastic for the setting (she played the original and has a pretty good grasp of it). So steps towards conversion should be starting for those and/or discussions on if we want to swap any. But really, I love the ones that got pitched.

Bug Hunting will commence shortly. I know for certain that +xp is broked, and the in-game helpfiles need a server-side redirect to use the files.

@Cobaltasaurus - If you're interested, I saved the +job that had your to-do list on it. And if I remember right we had some troubles with getting the equipment code to accept new entries (or I was dumb and doing it wrong. Fair odds it was my fault XD).

Hurt Locker. Some of the things in there are pretty broken, so that'll be the next big project, I think, after tackling the bloodlines.

@Thenomain - I will probably need a bit of a refresher on adding/removing things from the cgen code, so we can add the bloodlines we get hashed out, and turn off/remove the templates we don't want to use, or want showing in 'stat (thing)'.

                                        So much work!

Got the grid all dug, and starting on digging the places of interest in St. Louis.

ETA: CGen seems to be working fine, just need to desc edit the cgen rooms.

I keep thinking it might be a game where people spelunk and fight weird monsters in the dark with caving tools.
