As much as I would love to play on a place where erotic RP was not something that one had to worry about being shamed about (as long as it was consensual between the parties involved or witnessing, meaning that people would have to opt in to be part of the storyline even if they were not involved in the sexytimes directly), I just am not sure that's possible.
And yet, you can find pockets of safe playgroups on any game for just about any content matter, erotic or otherwise.
But I think people definitely fear being judged for what kind of play thet like, and people are definitely judgy of others even about the most inconsequential things, so.

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for contributing to the conversation, whether you posted thoughts in this thread, took the survey, or both. Since survey response rates are starting to fall off, I thought I'd comment on a few of the survey's findings so far:
The vast majority of the 43 people that responded saying that they are playing or would play an erotic MU* have shown disinterest in a new multiverse game, which is quite encouraging since the plan has been single-universe from the start. There's also a big interest in on-grid public roleplay and including gameplay features that offer players something to do besides erotic RP. On that note, a lot of people are interested in a setting with some supernatural influences, including magic. A less sizable majority would like to see a social deduction game built into the setting, a political element, and an economic element.
Honestly, there weren't really any standout unpopular ideas for game features. The biggest mixed bag came from asking about anthropomorphic characters, which I'm not too interested in supporting anyway - there are established places for that kind of play already, anyway.
This has given me a lot to think about, in terms of continuing to flesh out the design document I have going. I'd love to share bits and pieces of it once I think it's ready, and then get started with bringing the game to life!

Even if the focus isn't on erotic RP(though it certainly could be) I'd just like to see more games that don't shame players for engaging in erotic RP. A lot of games nowadays have policies in place that amount to "do it but don't post logs about it or discuss it in any way" and I think that's a shame.
I'm working on a game of that sort; it is just taking me forever. It'll have character sheets and plots but also supportive of people who want to bow chicka bow wow, judgement free.
