@Selira I'm with you, just a whole lot more south. We don't have the eerie red tinge, we just have hazy grey/orange that looks like it is dusk all day down here in So Cal.

I am driving towards the burning coast this week, and today I drove through the Texas and New Mexico and it was 35 degrees F from 1 to 5 pm. I am not from this area, but I suspect those temperatures at that time of day is very odd.

My mil/sis in law/bro in law had to mandatory evacuate in Oregon. Doesn't look good. They had time to load up the animals (includinh horses) and gtfo.

We've had some big storms the past couple weeks that have dropped the temps a lot. -

Ordered food from Freshly. Last week, it didn't show up (They include a pic with the delivery email - so I knew it wasn't just late)- called, they verified my address, etc etc. That's all correct, so they sent a report to the company that handles their shipping. They will make sure next order sends for free.
That order was supposed to be delivered today. I got the delivery email - and the picture is showing me the SAME DAMN DOOR that isn't mine. I call up, tell them I don't want to deal with this BS, and they say they'll cancel my subscription and refund me.
Then my roommate points out they remodeled like two of the 18 buildings in our complex. So we go check those to see if the door color/etc matches the picture. Lo and behold - it does.
And there's a Freshly box there in the hall, roommate sees it has my name on it. So we take it home - it's the box from last week, y'all. People were walking past it for a WEEK in front of their mailbox - and could see the name and address was just down the street, and couldn't call the office and tell them 'Hey, someone's shit got misdelivered to our building?"Roommate went back. This week's box was there in front of the pictured door. But like.. come on. Is a phone call that hard, when you know it's food and needs to be kept cool? Sure, no one stole it, but c'mon. So.. IDK.

@Macha We had hello fresh, back when we went into the world, and I kept saying "please leave it in the parcel box, not on the doorstep", and they kept putting it on the doorstep, and someone kept stealing it. Then when I made a complaint the delivery guy left our gate open despite the dog running free sign on it, and the puppy ran into the road. I was... angry. We got rid of them for the time being. (Puppy was ok!)

@JinShei Thank you for adding in the puppy was okay. Because puppers mean more than food. Well, you know what I mean.
I was just so annoyed. Like unto angry annoyed. People SUCK.

My friend used to work at UPS as a loader/unloader at Worldport after he got his Ph.D. and was trying to find work, and he warned me to never put "Fragile" on anything, because it will get the extra rough treatment.

UberEats delivering food via bicycle.
There's no opt-out.
Unless the restaurant is nearby (in which case it's as fast or faster than with a car) the food's always dramatically late, then it takes a long time and jumping several hoops to complain about it.

Dear kid walking pugs outside my window (where you're not supposed to be walking your dogs anymore, because the complex wants to landscape). Taunting my 75 lb dog through a screen window may not be the smartest idea. He's barking because he sees your dogs and wants to play, it's true. You've seen him outside with me, and he met your dogs and was a good boy while they sniffed and said hello.
But if he thinks you need help - he'll go THRU the screen. And likely scare you spitless. And I will be PISSED. (Not to mention I'm working, you little jackass)

Fortunately I live in a rural area. Bike delivery simply isn't an option here since everything is so spread out.

@RightMeow Having just discovered I've developed lactose intolerance, I feel this so hard. I'm always going 'Hmm, I'm sure a little bit won't hurt.'
But it does. It does hurt.
Sometimes it's still worth it.

@Goblin I am like this with cheese sammiches. Dairy and wheat and sugar intolerant. And every so often -- get me a cheese sammich on sugar-filled white bread if it kills me.

Hearing my 6 year old's sweet little voice asking me if the reason why the air is so foggy and orangey-yellow is because it got "the virus" too. As well as catching that slight wheeze in his breathing from the particulates (we are fortunately not dealing with even half of what people are dealing with closer to the fires, and can keep his asthma under control as a result).
