seriously you need to rename this thread to 'Fat Kids Anonymous'
-
@auspice Or 'you bastards are making me hungry, dammit'.

Now that I know how easy baked Brie is to prepare Iβll probably have one or two every game night! Itβs fun to experiment with what you put on it too, though thus far brown sugar has been hard to beat.

This feels apt for this thread.
That would be good comfort food.
@mietze Trader Joe's has mini-bries. Full wheels, each just wee and tiny and adorable and round with rind, so they're complete for baking (or toasting in a pan, etc.). So you could make a mini-brie for everyone coming. I did that as my contribution to Xmas dinner, but I know my family, so like... it was more like 3-4 mini-bries each. (They are very wee.)

@ashen-shugar I had to click. I had to look at what else they had. What did I find?
Pre-formatted marketing for M*ers!!!
(OK, I know it's an html typo, but this particular one, it still made me giggle for the above reason.)

I discovered POUTINE in Montreal. Here's how it goes...
Start with a bowl of crispy French fries. (MUST be crispy...)
Cover with warm, melty cheese curds
Smother with brown salt-gravy
Add your favorite smoked meat (bacon or pulled pork)Enjoy sparingly, as this is essentially a heart-attack in a bowl.

I tend to make brownies that you cannot eat one of without a whole glass of milk. So gooey-rich that they slow-motion crumble in your hand. Hmm. Back later.
