Buying Shit

Geez, I own 4 pairs of shoes. I get annoyed when I see them sitting around in my room because WHO THE HECK OWNS SO MANY SHOES.
Now I know. -
I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED.
I got a pair of limited runs from Nike. So on certain days of the month, Nike will drop Limited Runs of unique colorways of certain shoes. I love Air Max 90s and they released the Heritage collection today. Which focues around styles of various cities. These sell out in minutes, sometimes seconds, because resellers have computers set up to automatically buy multiple pairs when the clock hits 9am. Really hard for your regular sneakerhead to snatch a pair without have to pay resellers an extra couple hundred bucks. I was able to get the pair I had been wanting ever since I saw the release picutres. I don't plan on selling these, they're going into my everyday wear collection. And not on some trophy case. No point to having shoes if you don't wear them. Every pair I own, I wear, even if it's just one day a week. Or they fit a certain outfit. Still, I think I'm going to need a larger tower.

While I still haven't gotten into shoes...
Y'all. The whole "guys don't like clothes shopping" thing? I lived as a guy for 28 years. It's not a guy thing. It's a men's clothing sucks thing.
On a
somewhatextremely related note I need to uninstall the eShakti app from my phone before I bankrupt myself on dresses and blouses -

Must disagree. Men have the best pants, and I'm tempted to say they have the best selection of tee shirts in terms of licensed properties.
What did you find sucky about it, though?

Men get pockets.
Tuxes are sexy on almost everyone (I say almost because finding a button-down shirt that fits a busty woman without going custom tailored is like, impossible) whereas finding a formal gown that fits and looks right is lol. Also, men's pant sizing is far superior. Waist and inseam? My world for jeans that don't have to be folded up so I'm not walking on them all day.
-
I keep hearing the "women's pants don't have pockets" argument and I have to ask myself - where the heck yall shopping? Is this an American thing I missed? Do I just not buy the right type of pants?
The only pants of mine that don't have pockets are my leggings.
Also RE: waist and inseam - definitely superior. I have the opposite problem. Everything I wear is a high water.
-
They have shitty pockets that won't fit things like my cell phone.
-
I will say that men's shoes isn't what I'd like it to be. When I'm looking at new drops on the SNKRS app or on Nike or Addias main site there are four colors that I see most of the time or variations of.
White
Black
Red
GreyNow, that's fine, because those colors tend to go with just about anything anything. And I have friends who're also sneakerheads that like that trend. I on the otherhand would like as garish and obnoxious colorways as possible as I wear mostly dark colors on clothes. So yeah, having more colorful style of shoes works for me.
The problem with is, is that women and kids have much better selection of colorways than men do. Espeically kids. So I see the exact same shoe I wear, be it an AF1, AM1 or 90 or a Vapormax Plus, but the colors are just....so on point.
Also, I limit myself because I'm not a fan of namebrand shoes. As I don't buy Jordan or Lebrons or Kyries or KDs. And that's only in part because i don't like the cut of the shoe, and I'm pretty heavily biased against hightops all of those are exclusively highs.

Women's sizing is absurd, yeah, but again: eShakti
ETA: @Auspice men's clothing looks awful if it's not tailored.

ETA: @Auspice men's clothing looks awful if it's not tailored and you don't have the physique of a marble statue with a ton of ass in the back.
FIFY, for clarity.

Ain't nobody in the States wearing colored shirts other than point collars or buttoned ones. If you're looking at fancier stuff, you're wearing a white shirt with a suit.
Meanwhile there's stuff like THIS http://imgur.com/a/fpuChfY
ETA: yes those are my measurements yes i am a board no i am not buying that dress yes i very mich want to
ETA2: WEAR THE CUFFLINKS YOUR FATHER GAVE YOU

I wear almost exclusively black, blue, green, and red. With some purple in there sometimes. And the primary purple thing I wear (a hoodie) is unisex.
But here's the thing about women's clothes: they aren't made to fit common body shapes either. They design to 'thin with slight curves' and then just add fabric for larger sizes. So if you're flat? Stuff won't fit right. If you've got an ass or if you're curvy? Stuff won't fit right.
My entire life is basically 'my shirt is uncomfortable.' So if I could at least have jeans that are the right length or have pockets that fit more than chapstick that'd be great.

FML while I'm supporting the Vampire Chapters kickstarter, CMON announces what is basically Marvel Comics Arcadia Quest.

I feel like @surreality probably has a few hacks up her sleeve for this.

Maybe it's a cultural thing, but in America, women's pants pockets are generally too small and tight to fit your hands into, let alone a phone or your car keys or whatever, because women's pants prioritize displaying the shape of our hips and thighs over being useful as clothing objects.

@Ghost You know, the game itself I am kinda 'meh' on....
