@Runescryer I'm on The Collectors right now. But I concur!
-
Watching Evil with @Devrex and man, I gotta say, this last episode was so. Effin'. Good.
Season finale is next and it's got enough tension built up and I'm like, actively bouncing in my seat.
If you aren't watching this series you should be.

@Hella Can't wait for A Game Of You next season...
Barbie was great and Martin Tenbones looked and sounded amazing.
-
@Runescryer Admittedly, every time Martin Tenbones came on the screen, I had to yell "MARTIN TENBONES!" Like he could hear me.

Agreed. Stephen Fry was also a highlight for me. But he always is.
-
@Hella He was wonderful!
And I finally let myself finish it. And cried. I really want season 2. I want ALL the seasons.
-
@Derp That ending tho...

In other news:
Binged through the latest season of Lost in Space. This show is just so stupidly fun. I loved every second of it. They even get you to root for Dr. Smith. It’s amazing.
Westworld also continues to be fun.
-
She-Hulk is off to a great start. Just the right blend of action and comedy.
-
@Runescryer I honestly didn't care for the first episode. There was some good stuff when she was with Bruce but other than that it was a solid 'meh' for me.

For those who haven't heard...
Sandman dropped a bonus episode on Friday. A two-for-one special with 'A Dream of 1,000 Cats' and 'Calliope'.
-
Both of those go to some pretty dark places, though. Not that the show is a stranger to that or anything, but. You know. Heads up.
-
Man, Stranger Things 4’s ending did not work for me.
Well, onto The Sandman.
-
@Ganymede I kind of felt the same way. I enjoyed the season but the last episode seemed oddly rushed in some places and weirdly drawn out in others. Overall it left me feeling a little flat. It didn't spoil my overall enjoyment of the season but I do kind of wish the last episode had been a little tighter.
-
That’s a good way to put it.
But, I mean, there were points where I was thinking: “what sort of lazy DMing is this?”
And as an English major: “why did this happen to this character?”
It was like watching The Rise of Skywalker, except knowing that there is probably going to be another season of long-ass episodes and shit writing.

Like, episode 5 dark?
-
@Hella I haven't seen the episodes yet, but Calliope has sexual assault as part of slavery.
