Did anyone watch the RL GLOW back in the day? I loved the Netflix series, and it got me super nostalgic for it. When I was 11 I was torn between my mixed desires of wanting to be a GLOW wrestler, roller derby diva, actress, or astronaut.
I did, but back in the day and even to a lessened extent currently I will watch just about anything wrestling. I have not seen the Netflix series since I don't have Netflix. (I have horrible data usage limits, 20 gig a month total so don't watch TV online)
It was alright but even then as a kid I realized the wrestling was subpar, but I had already been spoiled by watching Flair/Race matches.Edit to Add: to same myself from accusations by the SJW brigade there was a lot of good female wrestling around at the time of Glow, such as Candi Devine, Wendi Richter and Madusa Miceli in the AWA and while hard to find in the US, though available to order form the Apter Mags All-Japan Womens Wrestling.
Note to though who are not fans, the mythical beast was spelled medusa, but the female wrestler was Madusa. -
Women's Wrestling could have been a big thing, if not for Fabulous Moolah being an untalented, skeezy slag of a human being.

Wrestling Isn't Wrestling taught me how to appreciate this non-sport fictional reality show that is professional wrestling.

Though god help them if the writing's shit.
Fortunately, Moffat is gone. Hopefully that means the writing will be halfway decent again.

@Arkandel I'mma just say: I want that island. Like whoa. That is all. And that outfit on said island was entertainingly Sith Lord. Which should not be spoilery, for there are many islands and many outfits, but it may provide a giggle if someone hasn't seen it yet, for when they do, because the one I mean will be obvious as hell.

I quote wikipedia:
"In 2009, [Moffat] replaced Davies as showrunner, lead writer and executive producer, with his first series as executive producer airing from April 2010. Smith, who was announced as the eleventh incarnation of the Doctor in January 2009 [...]."
Note that he started getting executive producer credits in 2010, but his stint as lead writer and showrunner started in 2009... when Matt Smith became the Doctor.
So what I'm saying is yes, that's what I just said.

What's frustrating for me is that some of my favorite episodes were written by Moffat, but as an exec producer? He just doesn't work.
