@arkandel do yourself a favour and stop after completing season 1. The next season is really poorly done-it feels like an AMC show now.
Disenchanted? The Groenig's Fantasy TV show? Just came out on Netflix a few days ago?
Can we have access to your time machine? I'm asking for a friend.
edit: You said Ark, not Admiral. Duh. I'm leaving my incorrect response there for comedic value.

@Admiral
Yeah, but you have long established yourself as a killjoy. I'm on Episode 4 and I haven't even seen a prince worth noting, and you are 100% wrong about the king's voice; it would be too lulz-ironic-wink-wink to have Patrick Stewart play a medieval-era ignorant bastard and the shine of his pretty bald head would fade quickly.
-
@thenomain Uh... what? I'm further into the show than you. I fail to see how me saying I didn't like it so far makes me a killjoy. I (like everyone else in the universe) love Futurama to death. And I am not saying Disenchantment is going to be a bad show. Right now it's just not very good. Some shows get off to a rocky start.
-
@admiral Theno thought you meant you've watched Disenchanted season 2. Which doesn't exist.

Disenchanted.
I didn’t care for it at first, and probably wouldn’t have kept watching past the first two episodes, but keep watching past the first two episodes.
There are a lot of people that are 'meh' about it, or hate it, but I really enjoyed it. I think a lot of people were expecting Futurama in Middle Earth, it's got it's own grooove and storytelling style, I'm looking forward to more, esp after the cliffhanger ending.
-
I won't lie. The last two episodes were subversive. They did not follow the formula I expected. I am cautiously optimistic for season 2, even though season 1 wasn't to my liking.

@wahoo
Speaking of, I am fucking LOVING this season of Better Call Saul so far. I've always been on for the ride with that show - its Swiss watch-level craftsmanship will keep me aboard even when the plotting drags - but the first two eps of the fourth season feel like they're heading toward something different and tighter/tenser than the past few seasons have been. I'm stoked to see where it goes. -
@three-eyed-crow I am too! My buddy was on it ...last season or the season before & that always rips me out, so it took a few stellar episodes to wrangle my way back in. The acting on it is always a masterclass.
-
@wahoo naw, more along the lines of Walking Dead.
-
@sg so the one not so great show? Not really a strong comparison.
-
Where are all of the Steven Universe fans? There have to be some here. I'm binging it and I'm obsessed. Like, "possibly trying to DIY an Amethyst costume for Halloween" obsessed.
-
@cupcake Steven Universe is the BEST.
-
@cupcake Me and my kid LOVE Steven Universe.
Greg is basically my spirit animal.

Do other people feel the same way when I experience the desire to be Garnet when I grow up or is it just me?

Netflix is firing salvos in the coming war against Disney's streaming service by locking up Alex Hirsch.
I. Want. To. See. This. Show. YESTERDAY.
I don't even care what it is. It's going to be amazing. Put it on my fucking TV right now!
-
Disenchanted was really good. I loved the adult humor and actual continuity and story arcs in a Matt Groening show!

Double post!
Some of these look neat. Maybe that Conan show will be fun, I do like the concept.

"Conan trying to find a place in a world that no longer needs beefy warriors."
That seems like the complete opposite of a Conan show?

Lots of these look neat.
I'm salivating at the possibility of a Culture show.
