On a more serious note: give the prof what she asks for. Consider it valuable experience in the world of "keeping up with fucked-up client demands". Because your clients will demand more and worse things that will make you grind your bicuspids to powder.

Dont' USE the prof's version as your portfolio. Keep a proper, professional one. Just hand a fake one done the prof's way to the prof.

@WTFE Very, very true. My clients ask me to do all kinds of fucked up stuff, and while you can try guide them towards something more suitable, most of the time, they won't go for it, unfortunately. The worst I've had, is a client asking me to zoom out of a photograph they'd provided me with, so you could see more of the cushions.

In PA, there is Yuengling, the beer company, which supports Trump. Boo them.

In PA, there is also Yuengling's (note the 's), a small, privately owned, family-run ice cream company.

Yuengling's has made a Butterbeer ice cream which is freaking awesome.

Unfortunately, a friend is getting reamed a guy who cannot tell the difference between the two companies, despite being repeatedly told and explained and given links. Nope. In his mind, they are one and the same and she is a horrible, evil person.

I find this is true. I will state I am not a Trump supporter, but it's none of my business if anyone is. As well, he is our president, good/bad/or whatever. I don't agree with anyone reaming anyone because of their personal agendas or beliefs. I don't have to take my money places, you are allowed to take your money where you want. I may educate you in the reasons why I don't go there, just in case you do share a belief that's the same and didn't know.

As a minority in many important ways, I actually find that this is very important to me now. Now, more than ever, I value my own opinion, and, in my own opinion, I must ensure that his Presidency lasts, at the longest, four years.

I generally don't, unless your personal agendas or beliefs have the consequences of forcing me to the leave the country or deny my right to exist for no damn good reason. Personal agendas include voting for people in power, even in ignorance.

I had no need/want of people dogpiling on the guy. My anger was mostly at how he was being shitty towards a friend who was just excited over an ice cream.

I think he finally got the point after my third 'Dude, I know, I am not doubting that Youngling, the beer, supported Trump. But these folks aren't them.'
