The hard part about stripping is dealing with the customers.
There's a pun in there somewhere.

As someone who worked in a strip club, you learn some things. Cocktail waitresses also get propositioned. Strippers don't wear 4 inch heels, they wear 6+ inch heels because the platform makes all the difference. (I knew this from fetish though) Good stripper shoes are also the cheap ones (love those Pleasers!) A good waitress will go the extra mile to get her dancer some lap dances because the dancer will spread that love around. (Tip her Daddy, no no give her more and I want another drink) Many strippers are actually lesbians and/or in committed relationships. You may can take them home but it's statistically unlikely. Yes, those bitches ARE crazy but you have to be to put up with the shit they put up with.
Also, there is sex in the champagne room. Well not sex sex but you may get an expensive handjob. Just buy an escort.

I chose this name because I'm a classy dude.
Been using it for ages. You know, because that's how long I've been this regal and respectable.

Easy. Three eyes are better than two. I may switch to Garnet at some point as well. Same reasoning too.

You can form a group with @Three-Eyed-Crow and fight crime.

I used to be a weeaboo, and I made this name as a way to distance myself from the negative parts of that obsession. My name is a bad Japanese pun that means "Foreigner." I've tried it on some Japanese people, apparently it checks out.
So now about 10 years later, it's pretty much my identity online!
(PS if you don't want thread necromancy, then demand threads timeout and get deleted.)

Years ago when I got asked to join staff on X-Men Movieverse MOO, I took the staff bit name Rosalind. (It was a Shakespearean theme.) Which shortened to Roz, which has become my regular online alias.
Years ago, I read As You Like It, and I found myself taking the name "Ganymede" from it.
It has a more specific, personal meaning, but there you have it, as you like it.

Auspice is my favorite word. And not due to WoD.
When I lived in Ohio, it was even my license plate. #nofucksgiven -
I wanted to be easy to find, so folks know who they're getting either in-game or on the forum. I've never identified long-term with any name across MU*s.

Obviously I'm the cat's meow.
Or because I can be catty and I can be awesome depending on my mood.
And I just randomly thought of it and no one had it. I don't remember my WORA handle. I blocked that whole part out of my psyche and put it in the no jar. -
I started off with some handle lost to the mists of time. Peverel used "Canink" as a slur, so I switched to that in a later incarnation. Then there was the meltdown of the co-runner of the board where he deleted accounts and messages from people who he thought were his enemies (thus guaranteeing that at least this particular one who didn't give much of a shit either way become one) and I made a replacement account because the idiot site admin (Peverel again) didn't know about things called "backups" and everything was lost. This replacement account was supposed to be called "What The Fuck Ever" but someone else already had it, so I initialized it. I've stuck with it ever since.

My throwaway email address is dontpander because I use it for secondary accounts when I don't feel like giving a second thought to taming down my language or attitude. And I like puns. Dontpanda sounds like someone's saying dontpander with an accent.

I was pissed when we picked staff names on CoMux. I wanted to go with Disney chars because I was known as Aladdin to all of my friends, but I was out voted about 137 to one. They wanted to go with drinks and I was going to go with Water. But then someone offered that we should do math because everyone hates math and it would be sort of a dark joke (I hope it was my idea, but I don't remember). Since I'd just gone on one of my huge soapbox speeches, Tangent was an easy fit.
