@faraday I was looking up a cron on MUSHCode (I think) and couldn't figure it out. Yours seems to make more sense. One question.. If I wanted to make it run daily to weather would I need a cron time thing for each day? Same with making it change every 4 months.

Okay. This is sort of not and sort of related to this. I am trying to make a simple weather system (very simple). At least looks wise. The details are:
Weather/time (extremely simple, I hope)
- It tracks the season by changing it every 3 months (to do 4 times a year). It simply changes an attribute called something like ‘currentseason’. It’ll just do ‘Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter’ So, the automatic change would start at, say, spring, and after 3 months turn over to summer and so on.
- It’ll just give the current weather in a couple words, give or take (IE it’ll say Rainy), pulling from a list related to the season going on. IE: It’s spring so it’d pull from an attribute that is something like: &list.spring <object>=<list of spring weather choices> and so on for each seasons.
- A 12 hour clock. It’d basically just track the IC time. The ability to adjust the time speed would be nice. For example 2 IC days happens every 1 RL day.
How would I go about making it so a cron runs according to the change of season every 4 months and the change of weather every day. Basically how I explained it. Trying to code for my game myself so.. yup. I am ignoring the clock and time ratio. I couldn't find a weather system that is this simple.

I thought about this..
I will, generally, stick to what is 'IC' for my character, except in plots. Plots I go a little 'off sheet' since the point of plots to be involved.
I also adjust slightly if someone tells me OOC that they just don't like RP with my character because it is too much of something, though, they like RPing with me.
Basically? IF it is within reason, I don't mind adjusting.

@Mercutio I tried all of those with %#, %!, %0, %L, etc. and it just returns a blank line. SO, it is breaking down in pulling the attribute details.

Okay. I'm fiddling with @roomformat (as well as exit and name and conformat) but right now I am having troubles figuring out what I need to use in @roomformat to pull an attribute off the room. I specifically mean the details in the attribute. I tried the things I know and can't find a connecting helpfile that will tell me.

Are you going to have feature characters? Because I would 100% lean towards Gotham. I am bias in favor of Batman stuff.
I ask because I tend to prefer 'comic features' should be more NPC (THey have some pretty solid details about them done and they've done everything) and jump in to save the day if the original bits are going to a point where 'they all die' or some other way that they don't seem to be pulling out of.

Sailormoon: The Crystal Millennium
Welcome to Sailor Moon: The Crystal Millennium.
We are a 'fan fiction' mu* placed in the universe of Naoko Takeuchi's Sailormoon. It is placed in Crystal Tokoyo, just after the defeat of Galaxia. Peace was restored but, as expected, it did not last long. A new, far more dangerous threat arose to bring destruction to the Sailor Senshi and all they hold dear.
While, the Senshi are able to hold back the new threat, soon learned to be called the Zodiac, they are weakening the Senshi. The slow drain on the Senshi from the battles sent off warning to other universes, galaxies, solar systems and so on. This caused more and more Senshi to fully awaken. Drawn by the light of the Silver Crystal the newly awakened Senshi, and Kishi, are drawn to Crystal Tokoyo to help fight off the newest threat, hopefully for good.
Will the Senshi and Kishi win against the Zodiac? Will the new Senshi be able to defeat the Zodiac? Only time and their powers will tell. Come join the battle of good and evil, defeat your foes.

I am still working on building the grid and getting code in. I would love help on both of these, especially code since my code knowledge is limited. You are welcome to join and give input/suggestions/what have you. All the theme files should be done now for reviewing. If you see anything you think might be useful to add, by all means suggest it. I am Venus in game.
My current desires for code:
- list itemWho/where/finger, places, etc (you know, the default stuff.. I just don't like the default code in TinyMUX for this)
- A Sheet wih XP spends (XP will be automatically generated each week with, maybe, votes as bonus XPs. No limit on how many people you can vote just not your alts)
- A code that players can use as a 'transformation sequence'. You know, the fancy stuff that is always in the Magical Girl genre. Maybe it changes name to the chosen senshi/aliases them to their actual name?
- Combatable stuff (perhaps NPC enemies that they can battle? Not sure on this) - is only noted when 'transformed'. This should include their weapon and 'Senshi abilities' (which will be customizable, maybe). I need to back and forth this with someone to solidly think of what would be best for handling (combat stuff and I are not friends) all this. It needs to be easily used by combat dumb people.
- A map command that shows where you are and all that.
That is all I can think of off hand. I'll be /attempting/ to code it by myself but.. yeah.. Code skills minimal.

@Tempest I see people /constantly/ calling him out on the stuff he says. In and out of the WoD community. People just decide they like him despite that. I find him enjoyable to talk with.

I STRONGLY endorse places. All the places. Even if it comes excessive. I do, entirely, avoid large scenes because it gets too much to keep up with and is not really fun for me.
