If the people in the scene feel it is a fair and just response? Why not let them do all that?

@Sunny I will be so heartbroke if you make a rule of no Haunts outta CG for Sin-Eaters on your place.

RE: WoD MUSH Comparison?
I also think, at least if it's a group not randomly put together minutes before, that the plots should be geared towards the people in the scene.

RE: Whispers in the Dark - A Buffy MUX looking for help
IS all the information on the game found in game? Because muxmadness.com does not give anything about the game.

RE: Kushiel's Debut
Okay! I was not gonna post anytihng but I've an adorable Valerian (I think she's adorable) in the KD 'Verse that needs a nobleman. Valerians are the do as they are told types and all that, submissives. She has a heir for him all sorted. He won her Debut, he bought out her marque, and she has been his consort since she was 18. She is a terribad mother. That is about all that is set in stone on her nobleman. I left all the things vague so he could be anything. PM me if curious!
Also! I totally want more Le Blancs for Corinne's family. I've been gradually putting up information for the family page so it is not a blank slate anymore.
Um.. Alyssum people would be awesome too (Alyssum House are the perpetual innocent Courtesans).

@Gingerlily I was lured by @Sunny. She wouldn't let me nom her for good things, though!

RE: The Unfindable Flag
An alternate solution is to set all private residents unfindable, automatically making them unfindable, and all public rooms unfindable. So, like, homes could be set unfindable but any room in a business are not. Then it keeps privacy in tact as well as leaves it clear for public locations to be known and keeps private locations private.
Now that I've thought of this.. I will need to ask @Rook to feex +where to reflect this because he does my code magic when he can.

RE: Kushiel's Debut
I'm not a fan of putting all the blame on staff. A lot of the players seem to like were the game is. So the resistance of staff might be due to trying not to alienate the majority of the player base. Allowing certain changes might have a bunch of the players go 'This is not what I signed up for!'
I find the staff pretty reasonable, thus far. Hence why I don't want to be all 'Staff is killing the game!'

RE: Steam Buddies?
They haven't caught me o far. One game on my Wishlist went for sale but I dunno if I want it still.
-
RE: Steam Buddies?
Wait.. you have to play the game to get any real discounts? It won't even let me join any of them. I guess I am SOL if any of the games I want hit the sales.

RE: RenoMUSH - The Biggest Little Game on the Net
I already forget who you said you were @Thisnameistaken. I ought to RP on Reno more over just random moments.

RE: Blood of Dragons
@Jealousy That name sounds vaguely familiar. So, it might have been.

RE: Blood of Dragons
@Three-Eyed-Crow I got to the app process because my friend was there and the staffer I was talking to was really willing to help. I liked whomever it was. Forget the name now, though. I don't recall getting much from the other players but I could be wrong.

RE: Settings and Canon
I don't really have a set path for my place. I'm pretty willing to let players change the game with their actions as long as they are being reasonable about it and not expecting instant gratification.
Mind.. I get grr fast but can generally be easily calmed down. Mind, I'll be sad if people join just to change the theme to their vision over trying out the theme and the likes I've set up.

RE: Blood of Dragons
I've concluded, again, that Blood of Dragons is not the place for me. I was just looking at the 'application' process once again and it hasn't changed. I don't know why previous mu* experience is important. Someone who has never mued before could be a fabulous RPer (I've met a couple new people to muing). Also? Restricted chars need logs from previous scenes elsemu*.
Playing on BoD must be more like a job over pretendy fun time.
If one wants to make sure a char ends up suitable for going on a roster/in a character database? why not get the person IC then as time goes on /gently/ suggest background and the likes be modified because a person can realize the char is different than he or she intially thought they would be. Characters generally get WAY better when a person has played them for even a short time.

RE: Blood of Dragons
I was not going to comment here because @Coin had a good point about speaking ill about games on an add thread.
A few years ago a friend asked me to come play on BLood of Dragons. I read WORA and heard from multiple friends who don't WORA say it's not the most enjoyable of games. I was like 'I've heard that before. Sometimes perceptions are wrong. My friend is on there to. I'll give it a shot, it can't be as bad as they say.' because I /try/ to give everything the benefit of the doubt.
So, I chatted with a staffer sort (forget who) worked out a fun angle that also allowed me to play with my friend (can't remember what now). I had misgivings about applying to a mu* via /email/ before I could even get a bit but I was like 'Everyone has their thing. I'll roll with it. Might not be as weird as it seems to me.' So I applied and worked on my bit. Finished it only to ave to do /another/ app process. And I was like 'Okay. I suppose it makes sense. Things might have diverted from what I originally had sent in and they want to be sure it still meshes and what not.' The app got denied 3 or 4 times, at least. I am all for making sure people are on theme but that takes it too far.
I like to think my apps aren't /awful/, maybe not GREAT but not /awful/. I've been on some pretty strict to theme games (Firan being one of the biggest ones) but just getting ONTO a game to play shouldn't be such a massive chore.

RE: Dust to Dust (Formerly the nWoD grenade thread)
It's all set up.. My co-admin and I don't know how to make it pretty, at all. And @Rook has informed us that is not his strong point either.
