RE: Good TV
But yeah honestly Geralt and Yennefer have to be one of my favorite video game pairings of all time. Dayum.
Sorry. I went with Triss.
Me too. I have an irrational thing for redheads.

I'm not sure there's any part of this that isn't awesome. I love this musician:

And for everyone who deals with kids:
Oh. My. God.
I didn't know I needed this in my life.
Thank you for sharing!

RE: The ADD/ADHD Thread (cont'd from Peeves)
Most everything. The hyper-focus and getting pissed when I am broken out of it is way up there, but so is the not being able to focus on any one thing. I've also constantly have the 'I'm bored, but I can't choose something to do' cycle. It's gotten so bad at times it ends up being hours of me trying to find that one thing I want to do, but end up just having to go to bed since I have wasted so much time trying to pick that thing.

So, to out myself as a complete nerd:
I got started with Champions in the 80's
I also started with Champions way back when it was a box set. There is nothing quite like playing a HERO superbrick and rolling 25d6 for a punch...it is very satisfying.

@Arkandel I'm not sure why you're sighing?
I'm guessing, since it wasn't from a team member, that the person in question only saw the interviewee and didn't interact with her. So the request has the underlying tone of '.....hire her because I think she's hot'
Sadly that was the first thing that popped into my head as well.

RE: General Video Game Thread
@Wretched I'd read the article, but work has sites like that blocked. What is the TL-DR for those of us that are interested, but don't have the ability to check out the article?

I'd get those for the vintage value.
Seriously. That would have the total opposite effect on me as I would just want to get all the 'embarrassing' bags in the series.

RE: General Video Game Thread
I have bought all (I think) of the single player Final Fantasy games since 7 came out.
I have finished none of them.
They don't hold my interest for whatever reason.
Edited to add --
This seems to be a reoccurring theme with me recently, and I don't like it. Nothing is holding my interest for more than an hour or two when I used to be able to spend days on a game and play it to completion.

I am going to hold off on being excited about the Avengers. It's unfinished, but looks dated and looks like it's nothing special. Hopefully more details will come.
This. The idea of a good Avengers game fills me with joy, but so far this hasn't set good expectations.
Now Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate 3 and Vampire: Bloodlines 2 looks like they will obtain my monetary support.

@Lotherio That's what it looks like to me. I could be wrong.

RE: Empire State Heroes Mush
@bored So they turned Roy Harper into a Trucker Hat Wearing Guy Gardner wannabe techno genius?

justify things like Roy Harper being smarter than Tony Stark and Reed Richards.
Red Arrow? Arsenal? That Roy Harper?
Smarter than Richards or Stark?
Have I really been out of comics that long that this is even a question that has to be addressed in the first place?

They do. But I just found out that the Collector's Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 won't be available in the U.S. -
RE: General Video Game Thread
@Ghost Yeah, I knew about the old game...I did NOT know they were doing a new game!

Fury was the one who wielded Goose more than anyone in Captain Marvel.
If there was ever a badass motherfucker that knew how to use a pussy, it'd be Shaft.
