@Thenomain I'm really, really looking forward to this. God I hope it is as good, if not better, than Witcher 3.

@Sparks Oh lord, I can't be sure. It would have been the incarnation in the early 90's, so very well may have been the first.

@LoaKey hey there! I see you're also on FC. I'll hit you up there if that's ok?

gasps
Fistshakes at Vera I can only assume it was her, or Ainsley, but likely Vera...I miss her. She was fun and made a very good frenemy.

Kaleb was fun to play. Outward appearances and over the top Daeva indulgence aside, there was actually some depth to him. Most people just didn't get to see that side of him.

FPL liked Kaleb. Nobody liked FPL.
Funny, I don't seem to remember Fitzy liking Kaleb. In fact, I think I recall Kaleb continually trying to get under Fitzy's skin by calling him Fitzy. My plans backfired!

Kaleb wasn't a diva. He was simply... rather more open to expressing his needs and desires than the average. Okay? Okay.
So, he was an adult?
No wonder people didn't care for him.
Except for Ripley. She liked Kaleb a lot.
Wait...wait...people didn't like Kaleb?! Well, there goes my whole world shot to hell. I though everyone loved him! (No, i'm not serious).

@Miss-Demeanor No, this Kaleb isn't even a vampire.

RE: PC antagonism done rightposted in Mildly Constructive
I have gained good OOC friends due to them being awesome IC Antagonists. Even though we don't even play together anymore, I still keep in touch via Skype and/or other means because they were generally good people...just turns out our characters hated the shit out of each other.
I am always looking for more players of this caliber, because without conflict MU*s (or at least the character) can just stagnate.

I like to think that I can play a good antagonist. At least I try. shrug. Maybe I am just an asshole and don't realize it.

@Thenomain One might "Question" that quote. I made a funny...
I was mad when DC killed of Vic and made Renee the Question.
The Question was/is my favorite character. I even used to MU Vic back on Brave and the Bold.

I have both, but I don't play very often.

@Lithium Ah....16 years of my life wasted on that damned game, only to be tossed out like trash when they became Daybreak.
No...I'm not bitter at all.

While it's not entirely lethal, a good IP for a MU might be "Into the Badlands", which is a mix of post apocalyptic setting and wandering Kung Fu badasses. Plenty of non-lethal is utilized in that setting, and your character getting their ass kicked in isn't so lethal.
I'd have to go back and re-watch it, but from what I remember Into the Badlands was very, very lethal? I seem to recall much blood and death.
But, I could be wrong. I haven't watched it in a while, and my memory may be hazy.

RE: MU Things I Loveposted in Mildly Constructive
@Auspice Yeah, it was weird. What made it even weirder was it wasn't one, but two people. I was working at this place, and new hire came on. Started talking to her for job things, and somehow (I don't remember, this was YEARS ago) it came out that we had both MUed on a game together (and not only the same game, but our characters were heavily connected). Then come to find out her roomate also was on the same MU, and our characters were actually an item IC.
Small world sometimes...

RE: MU Things I Loveposted in Mildly Constructive
@Ganymede Honestly, it is the people that have brought me back again and again. I've been doing this just as long as you, and I have taken sabbaticals which sometimes last a couple of years, but the thing that has always brought me back are the people. I have had some really great friendships develop from my time on these games. Even years later I talk to some of the people I have met.
Sadly, I've also lost track of many of the people I used to play with. Sometimes I end up finding them again on places like this, or randomly elsewhere. Hell, I even found one once at a RL Job...that was a surprise.
So, yeah, I have to second Ganymede's comments in regards to the people.

Indeed he did...

@Alamias Maaaaaan, I was never so happy as I was when one of my vamps managed to piss Kaleb off. I can't recall if it was Sera or Ramona. But like... that was an ACCOMPLISHMENT, dammit. XD
Sera. I remember that....it was fun times. And for the life of me I could not roll for shit when I was trying to Mesmerize her either, so Kaleb was all flustered....
