@mietze That is pretty much the carbon copy of my 2nd wedding.
The only difference is we had a small handful of people we told and brought with us, then everyone else got a 'Hey we did a thing, here is a reception in our back yard!' invite after the fact. We got a bit of flack and hurt feelings from the people that we didn't tell right away, but tough shit for them...we had a limited budget and didn't invite the world.

I was never any good at the old Battletech. I'm probably not any good at the new Battletech, but damn it all if I don't want to try my hand at piloting a mech again.
I used to be able to MU from work, for almost 2 decades. Sadly this current position I am in, while technically I can use duckClient or something to get out to a MU (i've done it once or twice for 5 mintue bursts), I don't think I can pull it off for the long haul. They block all sorts of websites and I don't know how diligently they check things so I just don't risk it.
Sadly, I came to the realization not to long ago that it is MUing during work that not only helped me be productive (I used it as a 'goal' for my ADD rattled brain to get things done so I could pose, etc) but it also helped me keep my sanity. I now try to fill that void by coming here and or checking news sites (the ones I can get to anyway).

@skew I'm giving it another try and see if I can just get used to it. If I had my choice I wish it didn't do that, but it seems silly to have that be the cause of my dismissal of the client, because otherwise it seems to be a perfectly good client that is a good replacement for my old school SimpleMu.
I tried Potato today. I couldn’t get past the way it ‘scrolled’ long blocks of text when you did a look or whatever. It just seemed slow and bugged me. Just not for me.

@ganymede I'm right there with you with the feeling like I am drowning.
My triggers are the inability to sleep more than 2 to 3 hours a night no matter what I do/sleep aids I try, a wife that has severe depression herself whose meds are not working so has woken me up from the sleep I have been able to get with talk of 'not being around anymore', and a ton of financial debt that I see no way to get out of for decades.
@ganymede I might give it a go, but my time is limited. I can't play from work like I used to, and my evenings are usually booked up with family time.
Though I do miss MU*ing, so maybe I will carve out some times in the evening if I can. What is the place?

I love Betrayal at the house on the hill. I own that, and it's expansion.
I've also dived head first into Imperial Assault, and am looking to get into X-wing and Star Wars: Legion. Picked up the new Conan board game as well recently.
