And then I tried watching it.

And I couldn't get through it. I couldn't even force myself to finish so I'd have the 'canon' of it. JUST SO BAD.

There were parts of TLJ I liked. Parts.
But the casino planet shit will keep me from ever rewatching it. It was so unnecessary.

Same caveat as the worst game thread: you have to have actually watched it.
(For example: I imagine Twilight is terrible, but I've never actually watched it.)

Therefor, my entry into this is 'Stargate Origins.' I know it was a 'web series,' but it got repackaged as a movie ... that I couldn't even finish. It's just bad. Not even 'get drunk and watch bad movies' bad.

OCD is stupid.

My bus driver sees me every day, so while I was fumbling my phone out for my pass, he just waved me on by......but I had to finish going through the motions anyway because it's a required part of my daily routine.

You know who I get annoyed at? Let's call him, in this example, George.

George: Who wants to RP?

Me: Place A, Place B, Place C, maybe even Place D. But I can come up with something for just about anywhere.
George: I don't want to RP in any of those places.
Me: So where would your character be?

Me: Okay, well we could try Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3....

Someone can drag it out to this point once. Once.
After that, if they just ask for RP without putting anything up, I shrug and move on.

'That's not fun for me' and similar fall into the same mental category. It's someone who just cares about their personal (receipt) of entertainment and no one else's. This idea of 'consent' broadening into 'things I don't feel like RPing right now' is sort of the same, IMO.

If you're not comfortable with graphic depictions of grisly death, awesome. Say it up front in combat and I will make sure that things are glossed over.

If you just want me to serve to provide you entertainment entirely on your terms: we ain't RPing. Period.

Dragonriders: Chronicles of Pern

You couldn't ride any dragons. It was largely just endless side quests. The controls were wonky.

But the worst part, really, was the loading times. I literally once went and made lunch while waiting for something to load. The loading times are, hands down, why I never finished the game.

What is the worst video game you've ever played?
And why was it so bad?

Caveat: must be game you've personally played.
