@Sparks While I grasp the logic, the other bit that makes my soul itch is...

...it's not replacing with 'naked woman features'. If this is the reasoning, it is apparently taught to replace with 'naked women from porn' features, which are, uh... yeah. While porn is broad and varied, I would not call it a genuine random sample of the population.

I just... the methodology here makes my head hurt on so many levels.

Well I'd imagine the vast majority of naked photos available to it are from porn.

....which might be another reason why there's no male one. Most readily available pics of naked men are prob gay porn and we know how uncomfortable that'd make the sort of guy who made this.

@Auspice My doctors want me to exercise more, but won't give me anything for the pain to help me do it (Fibro sucks!)

It's why I argue so hard for marijuana legalization.
A lot of prescription pain meds don't work on me or barely work (I always thought klonopin and tramadol were pretty much sugar pills and to this day I don't get what people see in them: I take one and it's like nothing happened) but weed can help me function (I have a really powerful cbd gel that works better than any anti inflammatory med I've ever taken).

@Auspice Unfortunately I know this well - the fear, the frustration, all of it. My hips are problematic, along with my spine because of an autoimmune. My knees are also messed because I got hit by a car as a kid.

      It blows.
You wanna get in shape but your doctors are like 'Don't walk too much definitely don't run' and even if you could half the time you have zero energy because of other things (fibromyalgia in my case).

@Auspice FWIW, my mom had both her knees replaced in the same year (not at the same time) and while it's not fun, of course, she had no complications and her quality of life shot way up after recovery.

I don't regret the years I spent playing soccer as a teenager, but I can say it's directly responsible for the arthritis in my knees and hip.

I'm just not sure how I'd handle the recovery time. Hip replacement is apparently several weeks??? before a return to work and such. I can't see any point where I'd be capable of that anytime in the next decade or so. I'm single, a and a workaholic, b. But at the same time, I don't sleep well. I'm not as active as I'd like because of the pain.

I'm planning to get a new bed with money from new job since I think my ancient mattress is contributing to some of my back/hip issues. And a membership somewhere with a good pool because swimming is super gentle on hip issues. (My apt complex pool is too small to swim in properly and often full of kids)

I'm pretty sure I'm on path for a hip replacement in the next ten years based on the pain and sometimes difficulty walking...... so shit like this terrifies me.

I haven't shown to have a metal allergy but man it'd be terrifying to find out oh you're allergic to this one weird thing.

Because this is something I forget when I'm trying to code. I always feel like if I can't code it from scratch, I'm terrible and bad and should give up forever.

So Reminders that it's okay to search for shit are v helpful for me.

      Super dorky moment right here:

One of the rarest (by availability / cost / background yadda yadda) types of playing card in the world is 'Jerry's Nuggets' from the old casino of the same name. They're apparently amazing for cardistry. One guy (a magician; French one IIRC) bought all the remaining ones after the casino stopped using them, so they only show up for sale once in a blue moon. And usually in the $500 range.

But a card design company got the licensing to make more and worked with USPCC for the printing (often this company prints their own cards but they knew these had to be JUST RIGHT). People who have actually worked with the originals have played with these new ones and say they're pretty much right on the money.

The Kickstarter to buy them goes up on Monday morning and it'd be a lie to say I'm not really excited to be able to buy a couple decks. I've been collecting playing cards for years and doing cardistry in the past handful of months. Buying a few (some to work with and one for the collection) will be awesome.

Everyone at work is really happy for me with the new job. They've expressed they'll miss me, which feels good too, but honestly I will miss the camaraderie here.

I am also really looking forward to being able to afford my meds. Been off anything for migraines for a week and I am suffering.

      B) We're totally fine, dude. I honestly think it's funny now.
      C) If I had beef, I would not be cracking jokes like "That bastard pushed me down a flight of concrete steps solely with the power of his hate."

You should totally go around telling people you're Palpatine IRL, though.

      His hate is p powerful.

@Auspice I would play a member of the Capsules for sure. Cyberpunk and Shadowrun go-gangs are my jaaaam

      The characters I remember playing....
AndrAIa from Reboot (funny enough: once Staff decided sure, we'll allow non-Japan animation on a case-by-case basis when I asked to play her, the WHOLE REBOOT CAST filled out almost immediately)
      Kyo from Fruits Basket
      Trish from DMC

...I sort of took the 'anime' concept a bit loosely. >.> In my defense, there already was a Dante when I apped Trish.

@Sparks said in What Types of Games Would People Like To See?:

@Ghost — There used to be what felt like 200 different anime games out there back in the 1990's, and every time you blinked another one popped up. AnimeMUCK, AnimeMUSH, RanmaMUCK, ElseMUCK, ShoujoMUCK, FictionMUCK, there was a MUCK solely based on Utena which I do not honestly remember the name of, BSSMM (Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon MUX)...

NeoTokyo MUCK was the big one I remember. I played there for a while.

@Auspice Every time there is a sale I go down my wish list, and if I don't feel like buying the game at the sale price I remove it from my wish list. It's a good system.

Not a bad idea at all.
I usually review mine once or twice a year.

The main 'glut' on my list is all the Stellaris DLC. Someday it'll go on sale while I'm actively playing the game (I mean it goes on sale p often but I'm usually playing other things).
