I enjoyed our RP on BITN (I was Arwen). Was fun having another deaf PC to RP with.

Found the skin care set I'd wanted over the holidays for half-off today. I had gotten a sample of the brand's moisturizer a while back and looooooved it (most moisturizer feels too oily / heavy for me)... so now I have like, a full skincare set.
...which is probably good for my skin since I've been like, washing my face and that's it. >.>
And this product is?
philosophy's renewed hope in a jar. So I got the 'glowing days ahead' kit they had over the holidays. Cleansers, moisturizers, serums, etc... $45 instead of the $90 it had been.

Okay, not to be a SJW on a Friday but wtf Highland High School in Salt Lake City ?
I clicked through to read the whole handout.
...so I'm supposed to have a sense of humor, but not be vulgar and swear?
Shit, I am the worst woman.

The easiest way I've found to tweak CSS templates is to isolate one of the colors you want to change and its hex code. Then ctrl-f around for that hex code and you can usually find the part of the css that governs the color scheme, or at lest parts of it.

I would love to have a clove for you.
But I will eat my burger tonight in your honor. They were something I couldn't even think of touching when my gallbladder was failing me... So it's def one of those 'food you may someday find yourself unable to consume' things.
I'm glad to hear things are improving.

I'll put this here because she's adorable, but it's more 'RL Thing I Am Confused By'
I woke up to my cat chewing on the edge of the dresser.

Oh, hey. We briefly played together on Eldritch. I was Annika.
Hi! Annika was Mr. Bowman's Jack Smith Cover's neighbor or something, wasn't she? Coroner? Tech? Or something of that nature associated with the Law group?
Forensics tech, yep. And it was Jack Smith she knew, yeah.
I recall being quite pleased when you actually rolled in a crime scene to see whether he held his cookies (he did not). It helped me feel better for having gotten the feat Tolerance for Biology (most people just... play as if they do, even if they don't).

There are times when the road is unfun, much like any health care. The adaptation to the meds sucked hardcore. Some of the things my therapist has made me face have sucked.
But over all? It's been good. I feel better. I feel lighter. I still need, eventually, meds for my anxiety, but even the anxious episodes can be handled easier now that the depression is under control.
It's not a weakness to get help. Hokey as it sounds, I think it's a strength to seek help. It's easy to shove your head under a rock and go 'LA LA LA I'M FINE.' It's hard to sit down with someone you don't know and open up to them. But I adore my therapist (and as mentioned above: low-cost can be found. My therapist has worked out a lower cost for me and will still see me even when I can't afford that) and I find myself often looking forward to my appointments with her.

I, for one, am a fan of both vulgarity and kitty videos.
Even better if the two are combined.

I had a cat named Poodle. Former roommate now has her.

I gotta give props to my cat.
Normally, she won't sleep anywhere but by/on my legs. However, when I was verra sick and just sleeping it off Wed/Thurs, she spent a lot of time curled up right next to my neck/shoulders.
Cats really can tell when you just need that extra bit of love.

RE: MU Things I Loveposted in Mildly Constructive
Once upon a time, on a Wheel of Time MU* (I forget which)... I created with the name Lace.
Before realizing that the HeadWiz's name was AgeLace.
I offered to change mine once I found out, but they assured me it was fine.
...kinda awkward the random times I'd get mail and pages meant for them, tho. But everyone was always cool about it. I never saw anything too damning. Mostly people new to the game trying to ask CG questions (and not seeing 'Lace' on the who, so just shortening 'AgeLace' to 'Lace' for their page).
