@Kaiju It's a temporary close on a concept that we've had a few apps in. Much like we temporarily closed British people when we had an influx. It's not a ban or a rule, just a temporarily closed concept which'll get reevaluated as time goes on and people idle out.

RE: MU Things I Love
That feeling when you wrap up a great story in the best of ways and give some alpha characters a much needed rest. Thanks for collaborating with me @krmbm We did good.

RE: Game of Thrones
@Cupcake I saw the one for episode 1 and it was hilarious

RE: Gray Harbor Discussion
@Pandora like @krmbm indicated, we hope people come around and roleplay. We have roster characters who have pre built relationships but you can also reach out and oocly establish relationships with other characters on an OC easy enough.
That being said, I think in any game you're going to have your chit chat scenes and you're going to have your plot scenes. There are things on Gray Harbor to look into/research, there is lore to uncover. There are things that can happen to your character. Staff is going to be telling stories that connect to the basic meta plot. We are also going to tell small one off stories. And you can design and run your own PRPs too.

RE: Calaveras MUSH
Bumping this thread for posterity. We have been at it for about 4 months now and have a solid playerbase! We have awesome plot runners and some stuff cool events happening this month.
Come check us out. CGen is stupid easy and characters are typically approved same day.

RE: Active Games
We are also very active during the day but I thought someone above said they were evening players lol

RE: Active Games
Seconding Calaveras. We are very active in the evening, though you may need to take the initiative and ask for scenes sometimes!

RE: Calaveras MUSH
There was definitely A+ storytelling going on tonight. We have a few people who do awesome scheduled PRPs! And there's a couple of us that will do impromtu stuff on the grid

@magee101 can you clarify what you mean by burn notice stuff?

RE: Calaveras MUSH
Just wanted to give a bump to this and let everyone know that the rest of October is jammed with events (at least 1 a week until Halloween). November is likely to be very similar. There's also a semi overarching plot that's begun regarding a tech company that is starting to make its mark on the small town.
That being said, we've got an active 'black hat' group making trouble on grid! There are a handful of active cops & medical people as well. And lots of shop owners/townies to make life fun! We're a good group of solid RPers who are laid back OOCly. So if you're looking to find a place with a chill OOC community where you can have lots of fun Rping, stop on by

RE: Calaveras: Adult Fiction Drama MU
Really there's no better time to join than RIGHT NOW! There's going to be at least one event a week through the entire month.
Bonus: We're all pretty awesome.

RE: Calaveras: Adult Fiction Drama MU
Going to throw in my support for this place. The OOC community is fantastic and low-key/no drama. All the players are top tier RPers and are all engaged and fun to play with. I've yet to have a "bad" scene here.
As far as the fluff v. substance thing, I think that the players can fix that without issue.

RE: Potential Supernatural Game
I love Supernatural and would be all over this. Some of the initial problems I could see are having the monsters as PCs along with the hunters. Mostly because you may get into this situation where the game is just all out PvP rather than telling stories? But you obviously cant have a grid comprised of 20+ hunters either because that doesn't make much sense. I'm not really sure what you would need to do here tbh.
Anyway I would personally love playing in the supernatural world! So I would be down to give it a shot.

RE: Horror MUX - Discussion
@botulism I'm totally going to go for explorer, assuming it is still available in 4 hours when I get home from this dreadful place known as work lol

RE: Horror MUX - Discussion
I read in this thread I think that this isn't a good game for a casual player. I have been wanting to check it out but I have about 2 or 3 hours an evening to devote on work nights. Is that enough time or should I just avoid?
