Finished Hawkeye on Disney+ last night. It was DELIGHTFUL! As a fan of the Matt Fraction comics, it pleased me to no end to see them incorporate a lot of the feel of those while still planting it firmly in the MCU. So many easter eggs for fans of those comics. SO MANY. And a lot of surprises! Enjoyed the hell out of it.

I haven't played it (though I just got it since it's free) but it seems similar in concept to Prey by the makers of Dishonored. If you like Control you might like those as well.
Both Prey and Dishonored are very enjoyable and very replayable as well.

Just saw that and had no idea she was 80. So my sadness kind of became more of a nod to a great long life.

Michael Nesmith of the Monkees, 78, natural causes. Mickey Dolenz is the only remaining living member now. We watched repeats of the show all the time as kids.

nextdoor can be a cesspit but the one thing it is good for is lost and found for pets. May want to join your area's and see if you can find his people. What an adorable smushface. 10/10 would boop snoot.

What do y'all think about Hawkeye?
It has Lucky the Pizza Dog. That is all I needed it to have.

We had a lovely amazing couple come into the shelter looking to adopt a senior cat. We have one special baby we knew we had to show then called Licorice. She lives in our "feral" (really, just shy cats who will assert their boundaries with people if they aren't respected) because she is so old they want to be able to keep a closer eye on her then she would if she was able to run anywhere in the shelter.
The couple were amazing in the room and Licorice knew they were there for her. She spent the whole time cuddling one or the other of them.
It seemed perfect.
But when we checked their address we found their apartment's pet policy says they can only have 2 cats and they have three, so we had to deny them.
Totally heartbroken for Licorice. It seemed perfect.
Pet limits suck. It's why I have to buy a house this January instead of getting a condo or apartment near a dog park. Most, if not all, apartment complexes limit dogs to 50 pounds. I have a lab and a German Shepherd. They are not under 50 pounds by any stretch of the imagination. I'm fortunate in that I have a good job now and will be able to get a house because of a good credit rating, but this nonsense is why many people have to surrender their pets when they move.

Bart the bear, who likely has more movie and tv credits than most human actors. 21, peacefully in his sleep.

A concern I heard is that Amazon isn't yet used to running creative projects like that, and it
interferedoffered opinions a lot during production. This is one of Amazon Prime's intended carrots, after all, so they want to make it as appealing to everyone as it can possibly be.That isn't necessarily true. They have The Boys and Invincible and they haven't interfered on those at all really, and both were big hits for them.

RE: Good TV
Arcane Season 1 is fully up on Netflix and my GOD. I can't even. I know it will never in a million years be considered, but this show is seriously Emmy worthy. The animation is some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. The character designs are gorgeous even when they are hideous. The voice acting is superb, and the story? Well, I cried probably a half dozen times over the course of 9 episodes. It's holding at 100% Fresh on Rotten tomatoes with a 98% audience rating.
Season 2 has been officially announced as in production. I am over the moon.

I want to find a game where I am not forced to engage with things I don't want to engage with. Where staff is cool with my boundaries and my level of commitment, or usually lack thereof.
Yeah, daily adulting sucks and I want my RP time to be a relief from work stress, not adding more stress into my life.

I woke up ~midnight to hear my husband talking quietly. Turned over to see my kitten Calypso rubbing up on his face and him telling her how much he loves her and other sappy stuff.
Last night Dad went up to change after the fam all went out to dinner. Mom muted the tv when she heard him cooing and saying sweet things to my cat upstairs. It was adorable. Then mom shouted "He doesn't even say nice things like that to ME!" and we all died.

RE: Dead Celebrities 2021 Edition
@arkandel I think many do, at least genre actors, because of conventions where they get literally showered with love by fans. The ones who aren't in sci-fi/fantasy/comic/horror stuff though? Not sure as they usually don't get invited to those things.

I am assuming it's a typ of cheating, like stream sniping.
Nah it's people being awful to non-great players. I am Bronze 5 forever myself. I haven't played in a couple of years, but may start up again because of this series.

Hooooooly shiiiiiiit! The Yellowstone season 4 premiere was worth the extra long (fuck you, COVID) wait. Still the best drama on TV.

Only seen the first ep so far but Arcane on Netflix (League of Legends based animated series) is EPIC. The animation style is gorgeous, the story is solid, and it delves deeper into the game lore, locations, and characters.
