I think we RP'd maybe once or twice on Firan. I was the last (I think) Daliana.

@Packrat said in Angel's Legacy: Seeking Help!:
That said in the first 3 books we see an Archangel incapacitated by somebody throwing knives into their eyes, I do not see anything which suggests a dozen sufficiently willing to risk death soldiers with high powered firearms and hatchets (for post incapacitation dismembering) could not bring down an Archangel in the right circumstances. Did Alt-Napoleon drive angels out of western Europe or something? Who knows.
Note, that I believe Michaela is considered the weakest of the Archangel's as well. I don't think that say Raphael or Neha would be incapacitated so easily. Michaela is also not a warrior. She's a manipulator and a betrayer. I still hesitate to set anything in outside of the US because I don't know those cultures or that slang. If we put it somewhere outside of the US, I'd want a native of that area to put in some work on the wiki/in-game-news files, with info on the local culture, and slang, and stuff.

RE: Crimson Dynasties -- A Vampire: The Requiem 2e MUSH set in modern Beijing
@shangdi A friend and I are looking at apping a site,/Childer duo that run a vampire gambling den (research is being done on what would be traditional games for the area). Would this be acceptable?

The only thing I know about the burning man is that they cut off Nick Cages legs. Or am I thinking of something else?

RE: Welcome to the Euphoria - Alpha
I'm going to do a soft re-open of Euphoria, for now it will be for military PCs only. Civilians will be around but in the background. Events will happen either monthly or bi monthly depending, and in the mean time I'll be making sure the grid is fully set up.
Starting this Sunday 'm going to sit down and write up some "this is what happened" posts and wrap up previous plots. If you have things you would like for your pcs to have done either for returning players or if you just want closure for pcs if you're not returning to the game-- hit me up in game or here.

This is on my list. I need to finish Continuum and Walking Dead, but it's on my list.I think I was sold on the 'oh shit I'm being beaten up, let's the badass Asian lady kickboxer take over the body and beatdown my attackers' preview.
Sun is f'ing amazing, yes. Sun, Wolfgang, and Nomi (in my opinion) are the best. Kala and Capheus are the best people, but the other three are the biggest badasses.

RE: Angel's Legacy: Seeking Help!
Awesome!
Also re: "Special Vampires", I know @ixokai had an interest in them. I've decided to go ahead and allow them. 1) their special property'll be listed on the wiki, 2) people can't overlap unless it's a group app, or otherwise worked out that there are more than one of that kind, and 3) it'll cost 1 refresh at chargen to chargen as a special vampire.

I had a concept I really liked, but RL immediately kicked my butt.

I was going to put this in interesting links, but it's like 40 mins long, so I figured why not a place for videos we find interesting?
Anyway, remember that Final Fantasy House way back when? There was more I never even knew about.
He's made an abbreviated chronological retelling, if anyone is interested:

RE: Pick Your Poison: A Chronicle of Darkness Interest Check
The more votes for Hunter, the more I realize I just don't care for Hunter. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of MotW & Creeping Horror. I love X-files and I'd play on an X-files, or Supernatural style place-- but probably not one using Hunter: the Vigil. I think perhaps because Hunter: the Vigil has so many different groups that are all over the place it doesn't feel like a cohesive game. And so a Hunter: the Vigil game just doesn't ... draw me at all.

I am getting real fucking tired of college courses being amazed at the internet. "THE INTERNET HAS CHANGED ARGUMENTATION!" The internet is terrifying and amazing and it is changing the world! THE INTERNET! THE INTERNET! THE INTERNET!
I give no fucks. Seriously.
Fuck you.
The internet is a thing. It's been a thing.
Get the fuck over it.

RE: Pick Your Poison: A Chronicle of Darkness Interest Check
Eeeh. That sounds super unfun. "You hunt X but you know nothing about X". Hunters should know things. I mean isn't that the point of a lot of Monster Hunting things/Serial Killer Dramas? "Those who hunt monsters should be careful least monsters they become"?

No Demon then? That's a pity.
Demon is fundamentally not very good on a MU* from everything I've heard about it. The aspect of ULTRA secrecy above and beyond the other splats is often times not fun, ignored, or taken to the extremes. The idea of the ever presence of angels and the god-machine is also a lot of staff work.
