I'm looking for a couple of folks to play some temporary NPCs for Wildcard MUX. The majority of them would only be around for plot, but some of them might be keepable afterward. We'd need to discuss some things. Wildcard is a Fate Accelerated Edition game set in the world of the Anita Blake Novels (Anita Blake, etc don't exist in this world).

Specifically I am looking for:

• RPIT / Executioner types, non-specific.
• Head Of Police, specific (male, older)
• Slimy Politician, specific (male, young)
• Charismatic Witch, specific (male, young)
• Extremely Loyal To Their Factions People, non-specific (human, vampire, shifter, witch, etc).

I'd basically want you to pick a concept and go full-tilt onto the grid, make some conflict, make some noise!

@Glitch Yeah, I don't go anything over 5, if I can help it. Granted, I've only a permit so I'm always worried I'll get a ticket and never be able to get my full license.

@Aria : If you log in (angels.mechanipus.com 8000), go to construction zone, and then go to dt, it'll spit you out at the library. From there four rooms have been desc'd. It would /probably/ be best if the grids were uniform-ish-- so informative room descs rather than descriptive ones.

@surreality Unless someone is going ot desc Santa Monica, nothing from Santa Monica is going on. Which is where Beverly Hills was put on the game +map I'm basing the grid off of.

Peeve: So a person got a new dog in the neighborhood recently. Said dog is one of those that howls every time they hear sirens. Our neighborhood is directly across the highway from the hospital.

There are sirens no less than five times a day.

Nope. However, if you play a vampire rather than a shapeshifter vampires have this thing where they are "picky" about names. They typically go by a single name, and there aren't supposed to be two vampires with the same name (which can't happen on a mush anywise, because of how @name works).

How does the combat system give you headaches? It might be more streamlined in FAE? I've run a couple of combat scenes they weren't bad. No more complicated or harder than oWoD, I'd imagine.

1. Determine attack approach (flashy, careful, etc).
2. Determine if any stunts/aspects can be added.
3. Roll.
4. Other person rolls for defense.
5. Damage is the difference of those two rolls.

No. I didn’t TS Isaac. I RP’d all of once with him where I was acting as GM and was busy having a vampire spray other characters in the scene with pepper spray. For the record, I didn’t TS anyone on my game. Ever since people accused me of TSing a staff NPC that my character was actively plotting to kill I have stopped TSing random people and only rarely engage and only with people I’ve known for a while. Huh, it just hit me I was talking about TR but that applies to Arx too…

I’m really tired of this particular community using the fact that I engaged in sexual RP in the past to shame me or question my judgments.

The slutshaming you have going on here is all too familiar. I also have literally no idea what Derp is talking about how I have banned him from games because I wanted his TS partner, but he won’t provide receipts so idec.
