If I could just stop being ill.

The entirety of planning is currently being held on discord, where @Tributary, @Pyrephox, @Saturna, as well as other friends and I are throwing things at a wall and seeing what sticks. We're looking at seeing if we can get ArxCode up sometime in the near future. After that is done we may be open to crowd sourcing parts of theme.

We're not trying to make anyone feel unwanted. We appreciate the ideas, we just don't have a public place to share them yet.

You could always have someone else write the world up so that you can focus on the stories you want to tell within it.

Hello friends! As someprobably a lot of you know (because I've whined about it in like every fucking thread, sorry) I contracted covid-19 over the holidays, then it gave me pneumonia, and now I've developed pleurisy because of it. It has been making it a little bit difficult for me to get back into work, I'm also having an insanely difficult time getting onto unemployment because of how the state I'm in is handling unemployment applications (you call after 5pm to try and get an appointment for the next day, but they only do 600 callbacks a day, and I've spent literally 30-minutes trying to get through with the phone failing to connect, telling me that they're experiencing too high call volume to call back later, and when I finally do connect all the appointments are taken. Every. Single. Time.)...

So, in general, I am having a very difficult time financially. So... I'm going to throw out a kinda tip-jar thing, and put my patreon out there for folks.

If you have a dollar ($1) that you can spare for a month for a few months, it would greatly help me out because it would show people that my writing is worth supporting cause I have patrons. If you don't, I 100% understand because times are really terrible right now. But if you could spare me a few minutes of your time to share my patreon around on twitter, facebook, and whatever social media you use? That would also help me out a great deal!

I have two one going stories that I aim to post mostly on.

One is about a young woman traveling across the country with a man posing as a cop kidnaps her and keeps her locked in the jail cell of a ghost town. You can read the first part of that story here. The first four parts of "Fever" are free to anyone to read. From the 5th part on it goes behind the $1 paywall.

The second story is about a woman exploring her old family home, looking for where her criminally insane father supposedly hid a bunch of a money, that she desperately needs. As she explores the house she finds that something is very, very wrong with it. You can read the first part of it here. This one is free for anyone to read, so even if you don't actively subscribe as a patron, you'd be able to follow this story to it's conclusion.

to add a cherry on top to an already shitty day in my stressful life, I just got rear ended at a red light on my way home this evening. Thank god not hard enough to even deploy airbags (people haul ass on that road so i'm lucky). It was just enough to bend up my trunk, not just do in the bumper. Bumpers I can deal with. I kinda wanna make a steampunky victorian type game with a focus on royal court and intrigue. But I can even get myself to finish my birmingham game.

I really need someone to poke me with a stick and make me do things.

If I could just get onto unemployment that would be fantastic. I have bills to pay and I am not healthy enough to return to work, even though I'm go crazy from being off work for nearly 3-weeks now, but I still cough my fucking lungs out quite often.

I also don't want to talk about it, tbh. I'm angry and devistated by the entire ordeal. And it's less I willingly rehommed him and more boyfriend's family took advantage of my being sick and my rental company being assholes to steal him.

I only really said anything on here so that someone wouldn't accidentally be like "Cobalt, how's your puppy doing?"

When I don't have him anymore and am no longer speaking to people who claimed to love me and called me their family.

I've had to re-home Coconut, and I'm really fucking devastated. 2021 can fuck right off.

Update on me: I'm not in nearly as much pain as I was yesterday. The ache is now a little bit less than it was last Saturday. I have more energy (but not a whole lot), I'm still coughing but it doesn't hurt as much to cough, and still no more blood coming up. So Id say I'm improving.

Thank you for the concern. I'm as ok as I can be, I'm not gonna be a hero about it but I'm going to avoid the ER as to not drain resources until I actually need help. But I will def go back if my condition worsens.

Here's a general update on me:

Saturday night the ER diagnosed me with pneumonia from the covid, plus either a strained muscle or bruised rib from the coughing. I was ordered off work for another 10days, and given a 10day course of antibiotics. I wasn't ordered to quarantine anymore but I plan to anyway.

This morning I coughed up foamy, bloody liquid from my lungs (I felt the difference from when it comes from the sinuses). So we dropped Coconut off at bf's mom's place, so I can rest without having to take him outside in freezing weather while I'm recovering from pneumonia.

Rn, in gonna take a nap.

--- I've only really been half alive on Arx, but you can probably assume I'll be not around there a whole bunch.

I am not planning another trip to the ER right now, because I'm still breathing ok and don't require intubation nor am I running more than a mild fever.
