RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
I insisted we do a no contact pick up of the puppy, who has been staying with my fella's parents since I contracted covid, last night because I've been in general feeling a lot better... And he's been back with us for less than 12hrs and I'm now coughing non-stop.
I really don't want to send him away again.
He needs to be leashed trained, potty trained, crate trained. So much training, and god my head hurts from the coughing and I'd love to sleep because I am so tired but when I lie down I start coughing again.

RE: A Regency MU (Conceptual)
Oh yeah, I meant to add I'd be happy to write up families/noble houses.

RE: Birmingham: The Entangled City (BhamMu*)
Ok, I've made significant progress on the hermetic magic portion of the game. I'd like some general feedback from people-- noting that alot of this might change once I'm ready for alpha open. But this is my general idea so far. I do still need to write up the rules for 'experimental magic'.

She writes regency romance books-- or did, she hasn't released anything in two years. But her stuff is fantastic. It's usually got a court intrigue thread running through it on top of the romance.

RE: A Regency MU (Conceptual)
Are we talking Meredith Durand-- espionage, and court intrigue along with balls and debuts and debutantes?

RE: Why are there so many MUs set in Maine?
Oh, have we moved on from bitching about there being too many PNW games? Does that mean I can open another game set in Washington, State without someone concern trolling with a "constructive" conversation about "why are there so many games set in the PNW?".

RE: The Dog Thread
Do husky tails curl? Cause Coconut's curls just like that...

RE: How are you coping with COVID (and other 2020 fun)?

RE: The Dog Thread
@greenflashlight hims is very unhappy in the crate for bed time. And boy can he howl already.

RE: The Dog Thread
There's a patch near his eye that's a little scabby, that I'm mildly worried about. Gotta keep a watch on it.
Eta: currently all he does is sleep and cuddle.

RE: Interest Check: Ares Facilitated Short Term Spy MU*?

I'd be down for this.
Could it be a period piece type thing? Like, set during the Cold War or somesuch perhaps?
Re: Cold War, I'm not personally super knowledgeable on what makes the cold war the cold war, other than the development of nuclear arms. If someone wanted help with the thematic bits of it, sure. So long as allowances are made for lady spy awesomeness, given the 50s wasn't the best time for women.Or we could go Victorian era (actually, I think that might be another episode to do).
Storybook (cause, y'know, a single story at a time)
Hmm...

RE: Interest Check: Ares Facilitated Short Term Spy MU*?
Okay, so seems to be some interest. I guess this might be similar to horror mu* and the network, but the difference between them being a) it wouldn't be just horror, and it also wouldn't be a long term meta-thing like the network. E.G. Any changing of genres wouldn't be an IC thing.
Any thoughts on what I should call the mush / website? Ideally it would be a place that that could host sort of short-term games. Like I could run SpyMU* for 4-6 (or whatever) months, and then take a break, and then maybe run another sci-fi themed thing for a few months as interest is peaked. I'd want it to be something that I wouldn't have to change the name of the domain every time myself (or someone else) wants to run something.

Interest Check: Ares Facilitated Short Term Spy MU*?
Okay, that's a mouthful but... I listened to a spy audiobook recently, and now I kind of want to play/run a short-term mini-mu* based around a spy org. My thought is maybe to pop up an ares mu* that would run for idk 4-6months or maybe for a little longer, based around a specific spy organization. PCs would all be a part of it, plot would be about espionage and stuff. Think Covert Affairs, Burn Notice, James Bond, etc.
Any interest?

RE: Saffron's Memorial
For those who didn't know her, Saffron was amazingly sweet and nice. I never played on her game, but she connected with me back on WORA with an interest in MY games, and was always chatting with me and being kind.

I have a key for 3-months free of xbox gamepass for the PC. You cannot be an existing or previous customer, nor be an xbox game pass ultimate member (hence why I'm not using it q.q). (It's basically for new users.)
If anyone would like it, and meets the above restrictions, plz lemme know.

@Cobaltasaurus You mean The World's Largest Dungeon?
Huh, yes. I always thought it was the biggest damned dungeon b/c that's what my group called it. But apparently that was the name of the knight's of the dinner table parody.
