Galavant was a medival comedy musical that you would probably love if you weren't obstinate and tried things I suggest.

Galavant was different and fun. It was a sincerely great show that no one watched because it was different. And holy crap can Timothy Omundson sing.

Galavant was the spiritual successor to Monty Python's Holy Grail, et al.

It was irreverent, whacky, and heartfelt, and they had absolutely zero fucking compunction about making fun of their audience, their writers, their actors, their network, and themselves.

I'm a bit concerned though, the last season set up a really big expansive and awesome plot. Two episodes in and we're still to really deal with it much at all, and as this is the final season we're running out of time I feel.

Also they've chosen to release 2 episode per week, which almost makes me fear this is being rushed.

Still though, is a great show.

They're ramping up to something. I have faith.

If you've seen the latest episode you start to notice some serious connective tissue in the narrative they're telling.

Four Color was an old comic that changed title every issue. One Issue could be Hercules the next could be pulp detective, then the next could be Chilly Willy or Mickey Mouse.

In a twisted way, I'd... almost love to see a game that did this. Make a character, fairly basic with a basic set of abilities, and every so often, some weird event changes the world and suddenly your character is their noir incarnation, or even a cartoon one, as fits the weird change to the world. It'd almost be like any given 'changing channels' episode of a television show. (I'm looking hard at you on this one, Supernatural.)

It would be Very Not So Serious but probably a lot of fun, and likely a dang good characterization exercise for the writer contingent, since you'd be re-imagining your character's presentation (without changing their basics or sheet really) with each paradigm shift.
