      Not quite.

The movie released on Disney Plus (then I concur, I loved that one), or the series on DC universe (which I don't have and is one of the few reasons I'd consider getting dcu)?

      Fair.

Haven't seen the movie. I mean the TV show.

      I prefer 1:1.

I am also a proponent of time skips (with ample warning to the player base!) though that's best in small games.

      Double post to add:

Time skips, IMO, do a few wonderful things, mostly they allow people to do things on a believable IC timetable (months/years of research, learning something complex, falling in love and getting married, achieve glory and recognition for things that take time, whatever) and also allow for people whose situation is damaged (by OOC conflict, players disappearing/leaving, whatever) to vague-up and muddle through those issues and come out the other side more or less okay (or how they want to be). In effect, time skips allow for change without the slog, which is great; and if you wanna play something that happened -- feel free to flashback!

Good example: any between-season time skip for any show, especially long ones, like on Young Justice.

... why did that need pointing out? (Honest bewilderment.)

Because before that, @Auspice asked "where is 37".

I mean, a question was answered, I noted that there was an error in formatting. Maybe @kk wants to fix it, maybe they don't. What's the issue here?

      I don't have a 37 I just counted wrong, but...

I think tea would be a good 37. A warm cup of tea with honey can make everything seem much better.

I don't mind if anyone uses this list. Most of list is advice other people gave me.

Not reading ahead, so I don't know if someone said it already, but you have 38. 10 and 11 are in there twice (as numbers, not rules) because of formatting.

Maybe? It sort of reminder me of this except not as good or as funny.

      ETA: Team Max forever.

I'm team Max because I just like Skylar Astin. I liked him in Pitch Perfect and I really liked him on Ground Floor (a two-season sitcom that I inexplicably adore).

Why did none of you tell me how good Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist was? Sure, you've talked about it here but no one said TO ME 'Hey, you should watch this.' You fuckers.

I take it back. I hate this show. It starts out all light and fun till it sucks you in and hooks you then it sneaks around behind you and stabs you in the feels. OVER AND OVER AND OVER. And then for good measure, it drops the knife and starts doing it again with a fucking sword that's hooked up to a taser. HATE IT.

Hope it gets renewed. Just with better choreography. Cause honestly, it was horrible.

I think the choreography is kind of horrible on purpose? But yeah.

It's a bitch of a show if you get invested.

Just saw Justice League Dark: Apokollips War.

It's here because it's new, rather than good.

      Holy fuck was it bad.

this makes me sad. I liked the first Justice League Dark a lot.

Yeah, that one was all right.

This one just ... everything was bad. The pacing, the dialogue, the emotional beats...

The animation was on par with the rest. But everything else, god damn.

And I mean I will watch anything, especially during quarantine, but I was rooting for this thing to end (and the end is lame af).

I don't wanna like, collor anyone's future viewing of it, but yikes.

@Coin I think -- think -- the reason for the 'B' was that his father's name was also John (Big John). People who knew both (which would be most everyone in the story) would likely have had that drilled into their skulls as a means of addressing one or the other clearly. It's a pretty common thing to do name-wise, anyway, when someone does the whole same-name thing.

The same-name thing seemed really common when I lived in North Carolina, more than I saw elsewhere, anyway. It probably isn't statistically, but I knew easily half a dozen folks it applied to there in 2 years, and have only run into 1 anywhere else ever. It always had some kind of differentiator like that involved, so this may have just rolled off as making it seem more genuine, weirdly enough.

I get why his name is like that, I just find it unlikely they would repeatedly use "John B." Like, it sounds so off.

I watched Outer Banks and it was enjoyable enough. The only thing that bugged me is that everyone calls the protagonist "John B." I get that's his name but they repeat it over and over and over and like, okay man, I get it, his parents were assholes that named him after a Beach Boys song; but it's so unrealistically clunky to have them only call him that.

P.S. The Westworld season finale was eh.
