RE: RL Anger
I should have reminded those entitled bitches sitting next to me while I saw A Cure For Wellness that a special place in hell is reserved for people who talk in the theater.

RE: Forum Game Thread
It was a dark and stormy night. In her attic bedroom Margaret Murry, wrapped in an old patchwork quilt, sat on the foot of her bed and watched the trees tossing in the frenzied lashing of the wind. And then the murders began.

RE: RL things I love
@Faceless I want to play Musical Will He Or Won't He again sometime in the near future! That was hilariously fun.

RE: Full spoilers: Iron Fist
To the surprise of absolutely no one, I'm in it for Colleen Wing.
Also, watching Iron Fist and then Into the Badlands right afterward made the already superior latter even better than it is - and it's pretty damn good.

RE: RL Anger
@WTFE I am seriously considering an exit plan, yes.
The elements in favor are the very short commute, the insurance, and the more casual atmosphere. I also have very laid back managers who leave me alone to do my work and don't hound me about it.
But I'm not sure if that is enough now. I feel like there's some kind of unspoken blackball with my name on it.

RE: RL Anger
@Arkandel: I never, ever take Rock outside without being on a leash, unless we are in a completely enclosed area. Because if he decides to take off, well - he'll make 45 mph in six to eight strides. I keep him away from cats in general, and I always have access to at least one muzzle (I keep a backup in my car just in case, as well).
I used to go to dog parks, and I would let the smaller dog owners know, "hey, my dog has a prey drive, please keep an eye on your little one" - sometimes they'd just shrug me off, and fortunately nothing terrible happened, but I'm hyperaware that it could have.
I don't generally expose Rock to cats, I'm just tired of every cat owner I know when having a conversation insisting that their feline can kick my dog's ass. Like yes, I get it, cats can hold their own against a lot of different dogs, but greyhounds are trained hunters and they're fast as fuck, but it's just as likely he will get his jaws around your furbaby and things will not end well. It's like they want to start a pissing contest I'd rather not get into in the first place.

RE: RL Anger
@Ghost Why do I feel like your son would end up in a very special episode of Burn Notice?

RE: RL Anger
@Ghost Whitewashed, Blandwashed, Christianwashed, I don't care what you call it. Abigail Bresling is "half-Jewish", and Debra Messing is Jewish, but the characters weren't played with any obvious indication of it, including removing lines that Kellerman says when he talks about his zayde. The reason for it is frankly irrelevant, I just think it sucks.
There are plenty of shows that do informed Judaism quite well, it was disappointing that they felt it necessary to remove it from this remake. But then, the remake is TERRIBLE, so maybe not so much.

RE: RL Anger
I want to watch Wonder Woman with all of my friends that I usually go with.
I would also love to watch Wonder Woman a second time with my lady friends in a ladies only environment.
I would not begrudge any men who wanted to arrange a men's only viewing of a movie for charity, either.

@Thenomain said in RL Anger:
In other words, "It's always okay to punch a Nazi" is a perfect example of bringing hate to solve hate.
This was sarcasm? Please tell me this is sarcasm. I honestly can't tell.

RE: Good TV
@Coin I've been trying to find someplace where a viable Michael and Fiona team would work. Actually, a Michal Fiona Sam team, or a Michael Fiona Sam Jesse team would not go amiss...
A Lost motley that solves "problems"?

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
@HelloProject It may not be healthy, but it's certainly understandable. I am not a hugger, but if I was, and we were in realspace, I'd probably try to hug you.

RE: Good TV
So I've started watching The Strain and am pleasantly surprised by how good it is.
While I've always found Kevin Durand oddly attractive, I have to say, darken his hair and give him a Russian accent? Suddenly he's smokin' hot.

RE: RL Anger
Except for that one time he went on Twitter and started fighting with his fanbase because they criticized Texas and his wife's from there so obviously he needed to go out into the world and #NotAllTexans.
I am willing to bank his philanthropy, talent, kindness, care for his wife and daughter, physique/looks, etc. against that.

RE: Good TV
Did anyone watch the RL GLOW back in the day? I loved the Netflix series, and it got me super nostalgic for it. When I was 11 I was torn between my mixed desires of wanting to be a GLOW wrestler, roller derby diva, actress, or astronaut.
