I don't know if one is in development or not, but now I'm suddenly curious. Would this be based on the cartoons, or the in-game lore?
I'm not sure how one based on just the gameplay would work, though I admit to being terribly curious now.

@wretched yeah my wallet is missing with my vaccine card in it and i'm dying inside about that more than all of the cash and credit cards and my driver's license
If your state is like mine then they have you electronically registered too.

Something was written in a way that made me think about something else! The worst is when it's like, two pages back and I'm left wondering how I managed to turn the page.
It's incredible that my own brain can zone itself out.
This. Exactly. Like, your eyes are moving over words but your brain is somewhere else and you get a ways in and you're like 'wait what is even happening...'

And the anatomical hearts
It seems to me as if they are sharing one that was split down the middle? I don't play this game or know these characters, so I don't know what it represents, but I approve of the imagery.
Awww. And her birthday just a few weeks away too. So sad.

I have the LSAT scheduled for Saturday.
Side note: I wish you all of the luck and blessings and shit for this. Kick ass and take names.
Thanks! I'm a little nervous, tbh. The Flex format just has the three sections, no experimental, no additional, so the scoring is insanely tight. I do fine on reading comprehension and logical reasoning but the analytical logic games stuff is still kicking my ass. On the practice tests I can manage about a 163 or so but that's with the extra section and the experimentals. I have no idea what this one is gonna look like when it's all said and done.
@saosmash said in The ADD/ADHD Thread (cont'd from Peeves):
@Derp I did terrible on my first round of the LSAT, took it again after a year of actually preparing and stuff, and did well enough to get a big fat scholarship to GU (go bulldogs or whatever). You can always go again if it turns out too stressful for optimized performance.
Yeah, I honestly expect that I'm gonna do bad. Just because of the Flex format, really. Which is why I spent the extra cash for Score Preview and I can just throw that first one away if needed and take a mulligan in like, November.
But thanks, both of you!

I want to go back to bed.
I have the LSAT scheduled for Saturday.
In the middle of my mom's latest psychotic break and murder threats for testifying against her boyfriend that pulled a gun on us and made more murder threats.
And also while trying to find a new place to live closer to work.
The LSAT was an expected drain on my limited reserves of focus. The other two, not so much. I feel you on just wanting to go back to bed. I think I would like to stay there until sometime early next year.
But we'll both get through our various deals because we're too stubborn to do anything else.

Unless it's to the question of cats. And then the answer is still very simple, but differnt:

Ares has a smidgen of it in that you accumulate Luck by scening, and more Luck by scening with new characters or characters you haven't scened a lot with before.
That's FS3, not specifically Ares.
@chibichibi said in Golden Road Pivoting to Contagion Chronicles:
@warma-sheen So should I just keep it mage only for now and just add the Contagion book as another source book? Or should I introduce another splat?
I would strongly vote Mage-only. While 2E does very much level the playing field for the other supernaturals I think it would take more hand-holding than it is worth to get folks on the same page after 1E.
I would personally not include new towers, although I know a sixth watchtower was a story element at least once, just because they ultimately cannot truly be interacted with before archmastery if they are legit towers from another reality. You just get extra flavors of mage.
If you wanted to shake things up a bit, create a few local Nameless Orders with some real power.
I can read words. I know all of these words by themselves. And yet together they make absolutely no sense.
Chet, bruh. Are you a prototype AI?
I never thought we'd have to get to the stage of 'are you a bot' on MSB but here we are, I guess.
TFW when your parent who has been absolutely vile to you for weeks gets out of the psych ward and confesses that, in their last episode, they and the hallucination of their dead ex husband had a full on plan to murder you.
I want to talk to the writers of my life. They have completely jumped the goddamn shark.
That crochet dragon thing is amazing and I want it.

I don't think this should be relegated to the just the midwest politicians, speaking as someone from the midwest. Which is tangential to the topic being discussed
I mean, agreed, but those are specifically the ones that she cited, so that's why I used her (shared, not original apparently) example.
And while I suppose at the most extreme ends being opposed to the entitety of Israeli existence is probably anti-semitic, we often talk about the actions of a country's government by simply naming the country.
Most Chinese people are probably fine, but when we criticize China, we are really using that as a shorthand for the CCP and other tangential parties, not all billion Chinese people. I don't think that calling that post anti-semitism is a fair reading.
To add to that: she also calls out Christians in the midwest, presumably as political actors using religiously-grounded statements of ideology to pass and enforce destructive legislation that the religion ostensibly actually opposes. Making it a hypocritical point.
Not sure that just being anti-Israeli-shenanigans makes one an antisemite.

Oh, I'm safe. Believe that.
